In the movie they were basically the same colour as his shirt.
Get the socks from ebay(search for "1/6 socks" or "1/6 white socks")
I dyed them using some watered down acrylic paint(Crimson red and a tiny bit of phthalo blue) -

Got mine today. Beautiful figure.
Unfortunately the body is extremely brittle. Tried to change the hand - snapped the post off. Okay, a shaved down HT wrist peg solved that.
But I posed him standing and he took a dive - hip joint snapped. So I have to find a replacement body. Which is unfortunate since the neck/chest sculpt is truly extraordinary.

May I ask where you ordered from? Thanks!
Maybe you could swap the upper body onto a set of Truetype or another body's hips/legs? It would be a shame to lose that chest sculpt.

That totally sucks. I've avoided these problems so far, but it doesn't inspire much confidence whenever I decide to switch out hands or put him in a standing pose.
When he took a dive was he on the metal stand with his magnetic shoes?

Thats the worry with new bodies isn't it? Where can it take the pressure and where it can't. Think I will leave my bad boy sitting on his chair. Anyone got naked pics of the Blitzbody? Be good to avoid what happened to Daves by becoming familiar with the joints.

Sorry to hear that Dave. That's why I like HT Stands. I used to display my figures without them but every now & then I'd find a figure or two face down, luckly none of them got damaged but I took it as a warning in the end & put them all back on there Stands. I'm still waiting for Scareface to arrive but I'll be displaying mine on his chair anyways

Just ordered my own little friend. Its amazing how cheap it is compared to a Hot Toys figure. Same quality but cheaper price. Now all I need is either an enterbay or hot toys godfather so Scarface can sit in that badass godfather chair.

Really? You got wobbly leg joints? Mine are nice and tight. I haven't left him standing for an extended period though - but it does feel as though he could hold a standing pose indefinitely. I didn't exactly handle him with kid gloves when I first played around with him, seems I was lucky not to break something.
You're not kidding? Even if you got him from abcexpress @ $155, that's still $205 shipped. And even if you got a good exchange rate on the Australian dollar, that's still around $190 shipped. Yes the head sculpt is killer, the paint impressive and the body nicely proportioned. The suit is sweet. The chair is grand. But the accessories (apart from the chair) suck arse. And no socks, WTF? I agree that this figure can easily hold its own against just about any HT figure... but I think the price is about par, and sub-par if you ordered from BBTS @ $200 a pop. I love this figure, easily one of my faves, but for me the polish of the overall package doesn't quite meet the HT standard.
As far as the Don goes, if you can spare the cash go the HT version. There's a nice symmetry there too given Kang sculpted both the Don Vito and Tony Montana portraits

Great looking figure and nice packaging. Not had much chance to play with him but it feels like a solid figure to me. Love the chair too.
