1st impression,
I'm personally very impressed with him in hand, so much that I'm even contemplating selling my other figures. This release is by far the best mass produced Bruce I've collected, be it in terms of overall QC or likeness. Everything feels solid & well made, & has a nice bit of weight too. Some may not like the more subtle paintjob compared to the proto, but I think it adds more realism to the sculpt. Blitzway definitely did justice to Arnie's proto.
As for his expression, I really think Arnie chose an apt one, intentionally or otherwise. I could be reading too much into it, but I always saw a hint of subtle smile under those stern eyes, which I feel is very suitable in depicting his attitude when he fought Dan, before he got hit in the face anyway lol.

I think a smirk/smile would have improved the look of the sculpt without doubt.and I agree look wise it is very good,just lacks..attitude

Agreed. This piece came out fantastic in pretty much every way. If there was an alternate sculpt with any expression it'd be an instant buy for me but I just can't get past the chosen expression. I've read everyone's posts about what they see in this expression and the range has varied quite a bit, I have tried to look at this in a different perspective but in the end I always gravitate back to seeing a very sad Bruce Lee. I don't know anything about this company but I hope they do another Bruce Lee collectible, would love to see it.

If I had a camera like yours I would but my camera sucks because I spend all my money of figures instead of the necessities.
A pretty cool repaint, eyes looking too upward for my liking but goes to show what little changes to the brows & eye direction can do to enhance this piece.

A pretty cool repaint, eyes looking too upward for my liking but goes to show what little changes to the brows & eye direction can do to enhance this piece.

Thanks for the pics aeumuse, it looks like he just painted over the pupils and made them bigger to make them look in a certain direction. Thus, he didn't the repaint the eyes from scratch he just added paint to them, which explains why they are still looking upward. Nevertheless, it looks a lot better because now he seems focused on something instead looking like a deer head lights.

Just checked out the site, it looks like he repainted the whole face as there is no bruise on Bruce's face anymore. I find this weird how he would repaint everything else on the figure but the eyes, which like I said he just painted over the pupils to make them look in the right direction. Heck if he is going repaint the whole statue why not repaint all of the eyes? I guess he is not confident about painting them from scratch.
