hadn't reakised that steve,bit OTT redoing the whole face don't you think,his choice I guess the eyes are a great mod,but why get rid of the bruising(even though the left cheek should be the bruised one

Well he didn't repaint the eyes as such just painted over the pupils and made them bigger to make them look like they looking sideways. I guess he got rid of the bruise, because he wanted a non battle damaged Bruce, just before he gets hit by Dan's nunchuku.

Very funny andy yes the ''1/6'' is still in there.you could be right about him wanting a non BD sculpt steve.......as I keep saying about the cheek(after dan's nunchuk) either way the redone eyes do look better

Yeah TBH I would of preferred a non battle damaged sculpt. especially since the bruise is on the wrong side of the face.I really think a GOD sculpt with BD should only be fo a GOD statue with the foot print on it (if they ever do a full BD GOD statue) because I feel both those things go together. I just don't think it suits this sculpt especially since the Bamboo stick comes with it and he had no bruise when he used that before switching to Nunchuku. I do agree the eyes look better but would of been even better if the eyes were not looking up but just to the side. However, that would of required that the painter repaint all of the eyes and not just the pupils, so I guess he thought just repainting over the pupils would be good enough to give some expression in the face.

I'd be tempted myself to do the eyes because your dead right about the expression that does let this down a touch,i'm also going to check out the arms as I think with a little modding the could be changed to different pose positions(I know it's a statue) but the L arm isn't quite right.and knowing the good ole recasters on ebay,I can see some kind of non BD sculpt (maybe with a slight smirk) popping up)...as was the case with big boss.even the 1/4 WOTD popped up with the eyes repainted looking to the right.
Actually if I remembered correctly, the wound on Bruce's right cheek bone was there even before he started his bamboo fight with Dan, which for the life of me I have no impression when or where he got it from. The hit he got from Dan left a bruise on his left jaw.

you are correct aeumuse,although it's very faint at the start you don't really see it until bruce poses with the nunchuks when it all of a sudden it really shows up..

Yeah but the difference with the custom EB sculpts and this head sculpt is that this head sculpt it not removable. So u will have to break the head sculpt off the figure then glue a custom one in. Not sure many people would be that keen to break a statue for a custom head.
Yeah but that bruise looked a lot more subtle to the one painted on this statue, so subtle I could not even tell he had a bruise until someone pointed it out.
