The eyes are throwing this off ,display model here have that right eye off setting the left . with the slightly huge jaw, needs slimmer long face. but still not bad. But I just feel having seen some better sculpt of Bruce by Arnie , this could have been better in likeness. But what a great display piece of course this is a must buy for me. Pose is good inhand this will look fantastic will not buy the gold base even at same price :D think wooden base is the way to go with this . Save myself some dough at the same time. Likeness wise with EB WOTD that has great likeness , but this has the eye brow and Capturing Bruce angular features more .but not total likeness , so I guess I,d put WOTD slight edge on likeness but only slightly . I don't have a proper GOD Bruce , this will fit my collection , now wait for EB Big Boss 1/6 fig .:D I,d would have hope this was more competitivly price so more fans can get this . OSB layway maybe the way to go with UKers. I might need to go OSB route too !!! This with the base will be huge am guessing !!

I'm ok with both figures and statues. The sheer size of this 1/3 statue is making me want to buy it. However if it's sold out by the time Enterbay announce their next 1/4 Bruce Lee I'd be disappointed. I believe their 1/6 Big Boss will come out before the 1/4 one anyway.

would you be disappointed also if Enterbay makes a 1/4 GOD bruce later in the year after you bought the Blitzway one? :rotfl

This would look great in any Bruce Lee collection...I think the likeness is definitely there, although I expected it to be better when Arnie Kim is involved. I want to get it but the shipping to Australia is going to cost a fortune! It's 14kg!

Should I get this or wait till Enterbay shows prototype for 1/4 Bruce Lee due in November? Tough choice....

I'm also from Australia and very interested in this, but I had no idea it was 14kg, holy crap!

To give you an idea on shipping cost, I purchased ThreeA Metal Gear Rex from Sideshow earlier this year, and I think that was around 10kg in weight, and it cost me a bit over $100 to ship...and that's with Sideshow's discounted shipping rates. Don't think I'll be able to afford this if the shipping is significantly above $100.

Also, noticed if you order during the pre-order period, you get your name engraved on the back of the name plate. Would anyone actually want this? I would imagine it would affect the resale value if you decide to part with it later down the track, as I'm sure the would-be buyer wouldn't want someone else's name on the name plate.

Not only his eyes are off. His face should be slimmer too because he was really thin in game of death. I'm gonna pass because it's just too big for me. EB's 1/4 bruce lee has still the best likeness in the market imo.

You can see his cheek bones his face is slim enough as far as bone structure goes. The problem is the face is too masculine looking, the facial bones are too big. It is not that the face needs to lose any fat off it.

I don't think the face needs to be longer as it seems in proportion but slimmer structural wise.

I think the EBWOD captures the angular features more and this looks more like Bruce on every angle. Granted, not as perfect as WOTD EB one on certain angles but the core likeness of Bruce is still there, despite the masculine or deformed face. However, that is just my opinion.

Wow $100 is cheap for something that is 10 kg. This will cost Hundreds to ship not just because of the weight but because of the size as well unless it is sent via normal air mail.

Which is why I won't be preordering this. :wink1:

Yeah that was pretty cheap for international shipping. I was a little scared waiting for the shipping quote but was a little surprised when it came to $100 lol. As for size, the 3A Metal Gear Rex box is huge, as the figure itself is quite big. The box was 55.5cm x 43cm x 53.5cm. Really hope there is some sort of payment plan option for this.

Only problem with that is, what if it sells out during the pre-order period? lol.

Yup I was thinking about the name engraving issue too, resell would be effected, I would have thought PO with Arnie ,s signiture or something else would have been better, hand signed or owners name engraved ? For a gift would be ok i guess with the owner signiture.Hmmmm both the WOD and this GOD are good , but if this had yJ parks GOD likeness wow there be no complaint from me . :D

You seem very upset by all this....

not anymore I am over it

The box for this will be much bigger though since it is a much bigger item. Thus, will cost at least a few hundred to ship IMO, depending on shipping method of course.

I am willing to take that risk, I don't want that Gold base it is looks stupid, nor do I want anything to do with Shannon or having my name on there. I am hoping the 100 pre orders sell out fast.

Not a bad idea Great Pheidias lol but I hope they might get some signed by Arnie . Maybe someone need email Blitzway and get some signed ones on offer :)Blitzway will be scratching their head to recieve Bruce lee owners everywhere .

i too also like this statue very much.

The pose is a little weird, especially the angle of the head.

But that price..... its really over my budget. I guess i'll just have to wait around for the eventual 1/4 Enterbay Game of Death.

I'm an Arnie Kim fan, however, Scrudeia and YJ Park have proven they can do it just as well. Glad there are so many high quality Bruce products now. Remember the ol'days of Random half naked Asian Guy?

The figure itself is 60cm according to Blitzway's response on FB.

When did they say this? I can't find this information anywhere on their facebook page, did they use cm/mm or inches? :huh

They have yet to proven that to me, but each to their own. I wish someone could sculpt Bruce better than Arnie so everyone would stop kissing his ***.

The dimensions on their website list this as being 710mm tall, so it would make sense if the figure is 600mm tall. That's pretty damn big! and awesome :D
