The eyes are really dark but not totally black although they look black. I used a magnified glass with LED bright light and saw that there is an iris with dark brown star like pattern around it as seen in normal pupils.

Try and do what I did SAB and should be able to see the iris in both eyes then, although even doing that it is still not noticeable. U still really have to look hard see it.

Nah I'm good, was just trying to answer Gung Fu's question but you've done that, nice work! :)

Yeah don't blame u it's quite an annoying thing to do but I didn't do it just for Gun Fu's benefit, I wanted to know to! :lol

Check out what Raf (rrjrstatueman) did with his. Posted over at SF. He's still tweaking it though.

I knew it was just a matter of time before that guy modded this! He mods every statue he gets even those expensive CM ones!:horror TBH I don't think this makes the statue look more realistic probably because the paint job is not really realistic like Hot Toys ones. So maybe he should of repainted it first then add hair? :dunno

Apparently he's planning to make a silicone head for the piece instead which would give it more deapth and realism. Guys got some crazy talent, so I don't doubt he could make this look even better.

Don't I know it! Did you see how fixed up someone's Bobby C Joker statue? It doesn't surpized me that he wants to cast this head is silicon since he mentions in the video that the CM looks more realistic because it is silicon and it sounds like it bothers him that this statue has a plastic head. I think he just wants to make this statue as realistic as possible, hence the real hair.

looks impressive with real hair but, bruce needs a trim, the style is off, where's me scissors:lol

he does say it needs sorting:lol, not sure of wig prices but is $24 less shipping a fair price?.not that I'm even going to try this.
kinda reminds me of the cinemaquette hair that was off also...where's a barber when you need one.

I can't tell if I don't like it because the styles wrong or I'm just not used to real hair on statues :D

I think the style makes it off, agree about not used to real hair on statues, with the correct style this would look pretty dam good.
even the ETD figure arnie did had weird hair on it which looked even worse.

U talking about the 1/6th one with the red claw marks over the body and face that was not pose-able?

yeah that's the one steve..2005 I think, liked the figure but not the hair:lol.but I suppose done right I will make a statue/figure more lifelike

take rory's crow for example.

Yeah wasn't a bad sculpt, but not as good as this statue IMO.

Yeah but Rory's Crow does not have rooted hair, he just added strands to sculpted part on the top of the head.

fair point.strange though after 6-7 years apart from the the paint app the likeness hasn't greatly improved if you follow.
back to the statue is the foot peg fitted in the base or embedded in the rear foot

Actually for the most part it has, if you notice most of Arnie's early sculpts had long faces.

2004 GOD sculpt

GOD statue

The face on the GOD statue sculpt is more in proportion and doesn't appear long like his older ones and thus, I think the likeness is a lot better.

yes your correct there.but i'm talking about his ''retail''EB releases up to the hd1002 about 4yrs ago,HT and EB recent releases really have gone a step backwards IMHO.this statue is indeed a step in the right direction,i was hoping for something special from arnie on his ''comeback''
even this from arnie would compliment this statue

mm interesting email from my seller.

HI Chris,
