yes your correct there.but i'm talking about his ''retail''EB releases up to the hd1002 about 4yrs ago,HT and EB recent releases really have gone a step backwards IMHO.this statue is indeed a step in the right direction,i was hoping for something special from arnie on his ''comeback''

Yeah I admit that looks better but that is from his own personal works, the sculpt on the statue is still quite good for a mass produced product. However, I can understand your frustration that you wish the sculpt was the be all end all of all Bruce Lee sculpts.

This is Arnie Kim's handmade ETD figure/statue prototype from 2005. The legs move but of course the top portion is a statue. The eye balls are inserted behind the head and yes the hair should look more like doll hair than this fuzzy type. I think if Lalla did the paint on this and rooted the hair he would use a much better type of hair and much better paint job, however this piece still holds up till this day.

Yeah I have ....I just consider them such garbage overall I don't ever get to thinking about their hair specifically
Reeve's Superman is decent as is Arnie's T3 T-850 ....and other than that, I'm honestly completely baffled as to why anyone would wish to pay $200, let alone $2000 for one of their statues !

Popcultcha have had a CM Indiana Jones in stock for the last few years and I'm pretty sure they'll be stuck with until the end of time. The pose is great, but who is it supposed to be exactly?

yes gungfu im getting this statue ''eventually'' had a bit of a panic thinking I'd paid but my seller clarified he's paid blitzway and awaiting confirmation from fedex
that they have got his shipping payment.so I hope it ships over the weekend to him.and I get it in 10-14 days,we shall see.
the pic above was just an example of a better expression this statue could have had....one day maybe we will get the bruce to end all bruces.

I got the same thing on my BBTS order, 2 packages, one is only like 1 pound, no clue what it is

One box is the statue the smaller box is the gold name plate.

Here's Raf's review he put up not to long ago. About 2:55 into the video he breaks out the smaller box with the name plate.

Weird, my name plate was just in a cardboard sleeve within the main box.
Its fun having a personalized plate but the I actually think it just makes the base crowded. The pagoda on its own looks better so the plaque is just packed away inside the box.

Mine is from BBTS and has 2 boxes but as far as I know the BBTS version is not the gold base version. I don't think BBTS even got any golds did they?

It was just a thought as the video in question showed the gold version.someone on the thread (draco76x) never even got a nameplate in his box,so some...
may get 2 boxes,some may get a sleeve,then again some may not get a nameplate..strange

that's what I thought also,and most folks who have this got 1 box. and even blitzway give dimentions for 1 box a 2nd has never been mentioned.

My regular came with the personalized gold plaque in a separate small box, quite handy in storing the plaque, extra forearm & nunchucks bag in one place...too bad bamboo can't fit inside.
