Agreed. The 1/6 scale market is one of the lamest figure markets out there. For all these companies and skill in the field it is incredible how unoriginal and uninteresting license choices almost always are. At the very least strive to do characters not yet done. And companies wonder why the custom market is so huge for 1/6 stuff. It's because it's the only way we will ever see any of these things. Hell there isn't even a Jackie Chan figure.

To think they even skipped Matrix and LOTR, let alone a number of other properties that the collectors would gladly pay for. I was amazed by Carlito and I'm hoping that Blitzway continues on that path. I get it that they want to take shot at their hero Bruce Lee, but I'm hopng they'll also explore characters played by De Niro, Hanks...

The last quality Bruce Lee movie figure release was nearly two years ago. The Big Boss remains untouched (although EB is supposedly working on a BB figure). Just about every past release is dated and could use an upgrade.

Talking 1/6 of course. Which doesn't look like happening from BW for the moment, but hopefully it'll spur EB into riding their money train a bit harder.

Well enterbay is getting ready to preview their 1/4 Way of the Dragon figure ...I believe it is end of November (27th maybe?) that images are supposed to go up ?

And we've seen protos for their 1/6 Big Boss as well. Sure that will be ready to show soon. Though probably after the 1/4 sales have trailed off.

Well... if its a statue, i'm pretty sure its going to be Enter the Dragon.

Arnie did have a few completed ETD sculpts that seemed to be around 1/4 scale.

Hopefully, whatever scale they make, it will be a full body, or at least up to the waist. Not a huge fan of busts.. especially the ones with just the head and no arms.

All in all.. wonderful news ! This news made my day.

Only arnie kim is the master of bruce sculpt..My question is:
did enterbay bought the copyright from shannon to the bruce's likeness.
Ho toys couldn't to make a god figure...
now what's happened with blitzway (don't wrong on me..I am really happy about that)can they do it?

If it's true that this piece will be 1/2 or 1/3 scale, I can imagine the price on this to be crazy. The likeness would have to be pretty spot on, for me to even consider getting this.

These 'Arnie Kim' sculpts might be nice at 1/6, but depending on the price at 1/2 or 1/3 scale, they might not cut it for me.

Does Arnie Kim have exclusive rights for producing Bruce Lee figures? because everywhere Arnie goes, Bruce is being done. Enterbay, then Hot Toys now Blitzway. Its cool to see the evolution of Bruce Lee from Arnie. It gets better everytime. It doesn't really matter how mant times he does the icon, gives newcomers a chance to own a figure. I for one missed out on the Enterbay Game of Death so I hope to get that version through Blitzway. I won't even mind owning another Enter the Dragon version by Blitzway as well.

It pretty much has to be 1/3 or 1/2 .... can't wait to see.

Also really hoping its a dynamic pose of some type.
I'd love a fighting pose but with a narrower stance using the shoulder roll on the lead shoulder ....pretty much the end of his JKD evolution before passing

I'm a fan of mixed media. I'd like to have some "real" clothing on it. I think some peeps might like a fully sculpted statue though.
