''helmet hair'':lol.maybe more thought should have gone into this.this may well end up looking nice/good,but not an awesome piece.yes those sweat apps will no doubt vary statue to statue,so this statue is I think ''what could have been''.bit of a bummer really,at least I'm on a win win situation.

These are the most revealing pics so far which is good.
Nice to see a little more texture and poring in the face.
Encouraging that Thirty Centimetres has said the pants can be puffed out too.
I'm sure some decent photography will start rolling in now this piece is hitting homes.

They are doing good on shaving effect.

:lol the chest marks don't fit the blades.cant wait to see the back.althogh the cheek with the 3 cuts was done by another claw.

This looks fantastic! and it was taken by a phone as well! Can't wait to see this in person and photograph this piece! Thanks for posting the pics 30CM, and sharing your thoughts. Do you have the Game Of Death statue as well?

''the upper body is translucent material'' in what way my friend:dunno
the body is polystone so it should be solid...or is it:confused:

I would say they've probably made the body out of some type of translucent resin, so it's still solid, just has a bit of translucency to it, giving it a more realistic look (like real skin).

I'd imagine this is what was giving the 'waxy' look in some of the pics earlier with flash/bright lights.

The Enterbay HD1002 had striations across the chest like Bruce. The BW chest looks smooth in comparison.
Not really an excuse for such a big piece.

The proto doesn't really have them either man:

I'd say it's pretty accurate to the pose/image this statue was based on. He's not flexing, so there shouldn't be a lot of striations visible.

Honestly, I'm really happy with how this has turned out. Yes it's not as good as the proto, but production pieces never are. I still think the finished product is still very nice, and it looks nicer than the HD1002 to me (which looks toyish to me for some reason), judging by these recent pics. It's a shame about the sweat apps, hopefully it's not too bad in person. Maybe it's easy enough to add these yourself? Not sure.

I still think we'll be happy with what we get in hand.

Yes i do have God statue.heres the comparision in the same lighting.

Just notice that it is double hair layers sculpted on this but not with ETD

Imo Overall blitzway has improved their paint app on the face and they ignore some good such as double layers hair.

I prefer ETD and with a bit touch up IT's gonna be the best bruce lee statue.
and the likeness of ETD is better ,IMO

PS. for me ETD is my fav movie and i like bruce in ETD especially with his muscle body.

Great to see these close up pic . Thanks for posting 30CM . Will be great to see after you have reprinted this . With work I think is will be a great ETD . Do you think the sweat will be differcult to remove being dotted everywhere. And large streaks down body?

close up of the HD1002.similar effect but not noticeable in hand.no doubt the close up shot makes it worse on this...I hope.

Chris unlike the Blitzway statue I see nothing wrong with the sweat on this statue in this pic.

Yeah, well that video is not exactly helping sell the thing IMO.
The likeness is very strong but that is where it stops unfortunately.

The latest pics and that video still show a very pale and waxy skin tone.
The body detailing in the video looks pretty smooth. This should be ripped like the proto - There is not much excuse for this - Especially considering the size.

The ripped physique is so integral to the essence of Bruce in ETD.

The Enterbay HD1002 looks way more ripped and with a much better paint app.
In fact everything about the 1002 feels better, except for the likeness.

Yeah from what I have seen so far I would have to agree.

Just got him today. I can promise that he really looks better in hand but not great as proto.

So are the striations and vascularity more prominent?

The paint job is quite good except for the shadding on the upper body need to be stronger and sweat is quite terrible so that is my job for repaint them.

Is it noticeable from a distance?

ahh polystone also is a kind of resin, right?
it is not that solid ,you can obviously see when you use the mobile flash light point to the hand(i can't show you cause i take photos by mobile).
and by this translucent it really looks soft like human skin.

So it's hollow then?

They are doing good on shaving effect.

Do you have to get that close to notice the skin texture?

Imo Overall blitzway has improved their paint app on the face and they ignore some good such as double layers hair.

That's good then but just going by your pictures the paint apps still don't look realistic.

I prefer ETD and with a bit touch up IT's gonna be the best bruce lee statue.

The sculpt still looks toyish or cartoony, but the likeness appears to be better than GOD. :dunno

PS. for me ETD is my fav movie and i like bruce in ETD especially with his muscle body.

Ahh so you already have bias to liking this one then, j/k :wink1:

Anyway thanks for your mini review on this piece, it's about time someone could give us direct info. :yess:

Hello. 30cm is possible to see the photo comparison between GOD and ETD in the same position?thanks:)

30, you mentioned the pants could be puffed up. Any chance you could show a pic of the statue with the pants correctly bunched? I haven't seen one instance where the pants don't look like drain pipes.

Hmmm. I suspected since all the cuts look too much the same on each piece. Feels a cheap option for something like this but you can understand why they did it from a consistency point of view. With age though, you'd think they will start to peel away.

True but for the price of this statue, I think they should of painted the battle scars, since they are just claw marks and thus, it wouldn't be hard to just paint them similar (not exact) on every statue.

Yeah never thought of that, now that poses a problem.

is it confirmed their decals steve?.hope so i can then move them:lol.oh by the way i meant the blitzway close up made it worse:slap no issues with the HD1002.
