Yes it confirmed and the person to confirm it was the one that repainting them on the pics posted on here a few pages back.
oh by the way i meant the blitzway close up made it worseno issues with the HD1002.
Oh ok it sounded like you said it was pretty much the same up close but in hand you can't notice. Like I said I can't even notice it up close on the HD1002 pic you posted, doesn't appear to be anything wrong with it.

just re/checked.going by blitzway's description on their site,the total height of both statues are
ETD 685mm
GOD 710mm
so how come the ETD is taller?,as i said it should be approx 1'' smaller,or has bruce grown

going by the photo ETD must be 735mm tall as apposed to the 685mm by blitzway.

feet are higher up on the ETD going by the pic, ETD has a slightly higher base from the look of it

I thought the decals for scars were obvious from some of the earlier pics.
I can understand why they did it. Its to achieve consistency.
For those saying it cheapens the piece or worried it will fade over time or peel etc... Sideshow now uses decals for eyes on all of their statues, so they'd have the same problem then.
If they do fade over time, just paint over them.
I'm still happy with what I see and the statue overall looks realistic to me, but it seems like I'm the only one who likes it

I wouldn't call the GoD base understated. It is enormous and an eye catcher no its own (at least on my shelf....)
I like the EtD base ....immediately brings to mind the motifs and design of Han's mirror room, without needing the full size backdrop.

I think a square base would have been better suited,the designs/motifs could still be displayed.around the front and sides,and it would have given the statue a sense of space/room around it.and it's not small it's approx. 14'' wide.
like the GOD,and not kinda perched on top.and why have blitzway raised the height of it by approx 2''???

Yeah Sideshow have been using decals for a while now. I have no issue with them. Infact, id prefer to see them on more lifesize busts as they can look really awesome.
Im with ya tho. I think it looks great . The new close up shots shows some nice shading and depth to the paint. the stubble looks great and im liking the likeness, the stance and the base. The greedy side of me would have liked optional mirrors circling the statue as we are missing the extras from the god statue. The sweat on the last set of pics looks a bit lazy in some places but that may differ from piece to piece. Also its fairly easy to add your own....
I actually think this looks more realistic than the enterbay version .
Is there an exclusive with this one ? does the claw come with every statue ?
The exclusive is sort of meant to be the claw which is for 'pre-orders only' ....but since every retailer pre-orders their statues, it seems everyone has the claw
I've sent an email to OneSixthBruceUK regarding their Woody Inc 1/4 mirror dio bases for the Enterbay HD-1002.
I had it when I owned that statue and it makes the whole piece amazing. They were expensive (especially with shipping) but so worth it.
I want the same for this new 1/3 Blitzway statue and would instantly pre-order if they can offer it.

Fair enough bro, just read so much negativity over the last few pages that it gave me the impression that people just didn't like it. Seems like people keep focusing on the negatives of this piece, and not so much on the positives.
I agree man. People keep criticizing this piece, yet this looks way better than a lot of the stuff Sideshow sells, and definitely looks a lot more realistic, and people don't criticize Sideshow stuff this much lol. If Sideshow made this, I can guarantee it wouldn't look anywhere near this good, and there would probably be an even greater difference between proto and production piece. For starters, the headsculpt would be polystone, and would really look cartoonish. In some of the pics posted by 30cm, with proper lighting, it actually looks pretty realistic to me.
I love the base also. You're right, having a mirror backdrop would have completed this, and I think I'm going to make one myself.
The exclusive with this is the claw. Basically, if you buy it during the pre-order period, you get the claw. I think it's the same as when the GoD statue went up for pre-order, you got the personalised plaque if you ordered during the pre-order period.

You're not. Some of the first pics gave me hope, and I knew this was a keeper as soon as Andy posted those two sets, but kept it to myself. I said days ago I was ignoring most comments here due to overanalyzing, and it only got progressively worse, so no point for me to discuss certain things.
Perceived negatives. I found many criticisms rather eyerolling stuff.
