yeah, that isn't going to happen (although I am holding out hope as well). It is the main reason this will not be in my collection. I have no issue with paying more if it got us his jetpack.
I'm still holding on to the hope that Sideshow is adding the jetpack!

Oh I'd pay more for the jetpack. I'm wondering though, what is to stop them from creating one later, to be sold seperately, to go with the bust? Don't they create environments for the 12" figures, etc? Why not offer this as an addition for those who want it? Deak, can you e-mail Brandt with that suggestion? Would be kinda cool if you ask me. A long shot, but with the number of people who want it, who knows!

Sideshow Collectibles: It was only a couple months, right (if I remember correctly)? October to December (it originally launched with a 4th Qtr 2010 estimate). Pretty sure they decided to add electronics to it so it was bumped back a couple months, but I'll check to make sure! ... And keep in mind, the best way to get answers to specific questions about single items (or orders) is to contact our Customer Service department!

Unless there was a problem with the chest lights- which by the video looked just fine, the only lights to ad would be the 2 blinking lights on the rangefinder

Mainly because it'd be difficult to attach to it and that unlike environments which are specialized to go with one figure but can be used for various others, this would be solely for the Fett. I don't see it happening. I guarantee IF they were doing to do it, it'd have been molded to the back of the piece itself (well part of it).

I think the backpack would HAVE to be a separate piece. Slapping it on the back would look...odd. Besides there is a little bit of space between the pack itself and the armor. To have it flush would look weird on a high end collectible.

I don't see the problem. Yes it would have to be a separate piece. The stand for Darth Vader's helmet is separate. Life sized busts sit on shelves. They aren't carted around daily. How hard would it be to place a separate backpack behind the bust?

Well the stand for the Vader helmet isn't something that was used in the movies so it makes sence that it's a seperate piece. But the Jetpack is something differend. It would look weird if it would be a seperate piece because it them would "hang" in the air...
