I guess that's why it's called a prototype.

But accuracy tho
Why are we all surprised that a prototype looks better than a production piece? That chest armour really is small, but it looks okay otherwise, I'll be keeping my order.
Clothing looks blue to me too...not really thrilled with the production photos. Clothes are baggier, not tailored as nicely as the prototype. I try not to nit pick but I'm disappointed in this one

His arms look different too, not in a good way. The clothing is drastically darker, which makes the cloth underneath the chest plate stick out more. I may wait for in-hand pictures before deciding on this one. As for people talking about people complaining about the prototype vs production accuracy...if you are going to pay $440 for this, you have every right to want to get your money's worth.
I would have figured SS making his outfit in the correct ESB light blue color would have made collectors happy, but I must have forgotten I'm on the freaks board.
Exactly lol... They made it look better since everyone asks for accuracy.
If everyone wanted accuracy then 1250 people wouldn't have ordered the EX based on an inaccurate outfit
There are many reasons to order a figure (fan favorite character, likes the pose, first figure of a character on the market, and many more). Above all, ppl want accuracy, but sometimes they dont know whats accurate for that character or just like so much this character that didnt care about minor changes. When a collector store deliver us a really nice proto but not accurate, ppl will order, and then on the production piece fix that inaccuracy, thats just a great deal for a fan.
I understand your point. I really never liked Boba's outfit & would not have ordered had the accurate outfit been shown in the proto. I loved this figure because of that inaccuracy so you can understand my disappointment

Always a need to complain about something.
The simple fact is if people look back to the pics earlier in the thread from where he was actually first shown off at SDCC you'll notice that the suit ALWAYS had a blue tinge to it. It just didn't come across that way on the Sideshow site PO pics because frankly their pictures always suck and are generally worse than a good set of in hand pics. Combine that with the fact that his suit was in fact blue in ESB and now people are understanding why he looks blue all of a sudden.
I think it looks good so far and can't wait to get him. And for people who are already jumping ship and canceling.... See you when you decide to re-order once the first good set of pics come out.
