I think he meant he is just cancelling the exclusive version so he can save $50. I don't think anyone in their right mind would cancel Fett.

don't I wish .. but it is either I can continue with the 12" line, or I'm gonna need to find a 2nd job .. and, frankly, I hate the job I have now. So, it's just the 12" line for me from now on.

It's a shame, but understandable. If I didn't live with my fiance I don't think I could keep affording all I buy. This stuff isn't cheap...especially the PF's.

I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to afford everything. I know there will be some sacrifices down the line and at least I'm done playing catch up with other lines.

I am nearly done playing catch up as well. Just a few items left

1. GG Dooku bust
2. Padme CW maquette


I think that might be it since I am passing on the Mace, Anakin and Obi Wan busts in hopes of GG producing ones with arms.

Same here. Only PF I'm getting is Dagobah Luke & Yoda because that has a special place in my heart. Other than that, I'm a 12"er all the way...(which sounded dirty, I apologize)

I think that might be it since I am passing on the Mace, Anakin and Obi Wan busts in hopes of GG producing ones with arms.

Good luck on the Padme CW maquette. I actually offered up my right arm as payment, but the ebayer wanted more. I'm going to go cry now.

With all the people cancelling the exclusive Fett does anyone know if the people on the wait list are contacted as orders are canceled or do they wait for a few cancellations and then send out emails about conversions.

Besides looking cool. What have the fetts ever brought to Star Wars. Except the most wanted figures and busts. Personally his character is so minor I just dont get it. I mean all the Fetts are creamed rather easily. They cant fight. They waste screen time. But their armor is cool. Is that it? Im sure I will hear it for this post and please bring it. I just dont get it!

Because he's my kind of scum Actually I think the fact he doesn't get that much screentime adds to the appeal and makes him more enigmatic. I mean here's a bit character with all this cool Mando armor - people are naturally gonna be curious to what's this guy about. Plus he's got this lone wolf way of doing things vs. the goody goody jedi or stormtrooper automatons.

Yeah, I think it starts with him looking cool. But that is a perfectly legitimate way to begin. And the backstory everyone has created around him has only added to his mystique. But although he may be huge in the universe of Star Wars, his character is not that important in the films. But there again, there is something to be said for having a consistent presence throughout the story. I can think of six PT characters off the top of my head who could have been condensed into three.

Actually the reason why I like Fett so much is that he is really mysterious character and I think that led to his rise to be one of the most well known and loved characters in the OT.
Personally I always liked Fett, When I was a kid I thought that his ancestors would have fought in the Clone Wars. I imagined an army of Boba Fett's fighting Jedi. Well I guess I was partly right. Jango's DNA was used to clone all of the troops, so I guess I was some what on the right track. I never connected that the Clone Wars should have clones in them and that the Stormtroopers came from the Clones. I guess thats what happens when you are analyzing something when you are 10.
