Thanks man! I only have 5 left I think. Obi, Leia, Han, Luke, and the Speeder. The only one I don't want is the Ventress.

I must say that I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite. That being said the only thing I don't like about him is the base. The figure itself is very light which I could care less about. The base is rubbery and starting to peel. I noticed from others pics that theres is the same way. It can and will be fixed and won't be an issue. However, who looks at the base? It is a bad ass PF.

I will take a pic tonight. It is like they glued a piece on the bottom of the base. It is really dumb in my opinion. I don't know why the base is not harder.

The rubber coated base bothers me much more than the ABS body --- eh, that's old news by now though I guess.

I have to admit that the shape of the original helmet really annoyed me. Therefore i got me one of Nattys helmets, which are amazing (https://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b20/superjedi/Sideshow Fett Natty15 Helmet/Helmetsizecompare.jpg)
When it arrived i deceided not to use it because it was a little undersized for my taste, but the overall proportions are totally like in the movie. I guess the smaller size comes from shrinking in the mould, but i just can guess.
Then i got back working on my original Sideshow helmet, which has a good size but not accurate proportions.
First i sanded off the whole inside stuff (funny feeling to do that with a 300$ statue ).
Then i pushed the cheeks from the inside as wide as i could. For my taste it could be even wider but i did not want to break the plastic.
It worked out really well and i am totally happy now with my PF Fett.

Great idea Spiker. I had a look at my helmet a while back once it was popped off to see about doing the same thing (trimming the inside, heating it and stretching it to 'approximate' the proper shape). Glad to see it kinda works.

I've actually had Natty's sculpt on my Boba PF for over a year and I still love it. I got it repainted by Eric over on the Dented Helmet boards, and he did a KILLER job with the ESB detailing.

Funny thing is, I occasionally find Natty's sculpt a bit small too (according to Natty, not due to the shrinkage in casting, but apparently due to the fact that he sculpted it at exactly 1/4 scale without having the PF Fett in-hand. Turns out the PF Fett is a bit bigger than 1/4 scale - makes sense, since I've seen pictures of him next to the Anakin PF, and Anakin should be taller than Boba - in PF form, they're both the same size)

On the other hand, I find the SS helmet TOO BIG! Looks really goofy when I compare it to the size of the heads on Anakin and Indy Jones PF's. It's also the wrong shape (which you've done a nice job of correcting in so far as it can be done).

What I'm REALLY thinking of doing in the spring is taking Natty's sculpt, which is amazing, and the perfect shape - retooling it a tiny bit, and then playing with Hydro-spanning to try to enlarge it to the size I want.

I'll post pictures of how it turns out here...Then I'll have to check in with Eric again to see if he'd be willing to paint up another one for me!
