:lecture Won't even sniff my money on this one. Easier pass than even the Endor Rebels.

Endor Rebels kills this an di f we had more Endor themed product they would fit in quite well, but we have this master piece instead

The thread it only 30 minutes old... I'm sure somebody will post that they like 'em. :)

What a bunch of crybabies. This is probably just one of hundreds of things Sideshow has coming out in the next two years. Everybody acts like each reveal is the end the world. What is that shi_t about?

I love this idea! And for what it is, I think the execution of it is top notch. Just because they didn't make something I'm waiting for like 1/6 Boba Fett or Short Round YET, it doesn't mean these suck, and it doesn't mean that the G.I. Joe line is dead. I'm not a huge fan of the Clone Wars cartoons even though some episodes do have some pretty good stories and I watch it weekly anyway, but I love that Sideshow is making the most of the opportunity. Clones Wars gives different characters to the Clones, and I don't mind having different Clones in my lineup besides just this color and that color Trooper. I like knowing that a couple of them have had memorable adventures.

And Numa is a special add-in, not the whole focus of the set, so who gives a rats ass if she has articulated arms. Does she need to have an action pose?

Its a dumb choice that could have been used on ANYTHING ELSE for ANY OF THE OTHER 1:6th LINES.... oh ya there is only one other..

I actually think SS has done a great job with the SW line so far and they impressed me with each release. But some choices are just dumb from a business standpoint, this is one of them.

Im not exactly sure how it works, but I wonder if SS has gathered a large group of retailers to this point and they are forced to buy some of these to sell.

these guys and the 212th with Cody will all rock together:rock Unfortunately, I'll just marvel at these 2 through pics unless an offer too tempting comes up. I'm fine with my 212th grunt and the upcoming Cody

They look cool, but at $200 plus, gotta pass......too many clones....Sideshow, we need a break on Clones!

no way, Leave the flood gates open:lol We're just getting to the cooler clone designs, I don't mind them releasing this just to re-use the mold, It doesn't take much effort to just pass on the stuff you don't like anyway

Seems odd to reveal unmasked clones so closely on the heels of the Cody figure. If no other Morrison sculpt was on the horizon, there'd probably be more interest in this set.

I actually was happy to see this reveal, as it allows my wallet to take a quick sigh of relief (just like the Reindeer Darth Marth PF)...

Who??? Find me a single person who would have put these figures anywhere on their Want list.

Sideshow is losing their damned minds with some of these decisions. There is being unpredictable. Fine. There is being irreverent. Fine. There is even being purposely tongue-in-cheek. Also fine. But then there is just being dumb.

i think it's neet. i wanted a Uptau color clone that wasn't having ragdoll syndrome, and i prefer the Phase 1 helmets, so Yay.

Kinda irked that Numa has no arm articulation, however. I Gives a ____ about exposed joints. these things are action figures, not statues, give me exposed joints !

I think you guys are taking things too seriously. This is a fun little item and represents the Clone Wars very well. The Clone Wars has really humanized the Clones and I think this set represents that perfectly. So I don't quite get all of the whining about them. I mean these guys got my screen time than IG-88, Bossk, or any of the other Bounty Hunters in Empire save Boba Fett. :dunno

Kind of looks like good and evil versions of the same guy in some old Star Trek episode. So I guess the girl shows us how Ahsoka will look. Kind of weird with those little eyes after getting accustomed to the stylized look of the show.

But they were cool.

The majority of the gripes are simply due to the fact that we get yet another release of beyond-tertiary non-film characters while many significant first tier characters continue to be ignored.

This set is simply a quick and easy release, pure and simple. Rehashed Utapau's with new helmets. Throw in two headsculpts and the green kid for variety.

I'm sure we'll see LANCE and BIKINI-LINE with NOAA 12" Figure Set soon as well.

:monkey3

i don't think the gripes are strictly due to the fact of "beyond-tertiary non-film characters"… i am certain if the news was for Darth Revan or Cad Bane, the news would have been more welcomed. i think the majority of us already have the 212th Clone and most of the other skittles that followed… one has to sit back and not only justify this release financially, but also think of terms of display capacity…

Clones are just too needlessly expensive.
With all the mileage they've gotten out of the armor body and the armor molds, these guys could be $60 each and even these guys would sell great even with the unarticulated girl.
I would've liked to see more joints because this body will be used for other small characters as well.

We were all warned well ahead of time that this year would be heavy with armored troops. Personally, I like them. Particularly since they gave them realistic sculpts.

Revan and Bane would have been better received only because they are NOT apparent rehashed clones. And even then, not everyone would have been thrilled. I agree with your assessment regarding financial and space issues, though. Which leads us to...

Excellent point regarding cost on the clones and the unarticulated NUMA body.

I may be wrong but I think that the NUMA body along with the upcoming Yoda appendages will be the bases for Jawas.
