No, you don't have to disassemble the figure, you just pull the arms out of the shoulder socket. The dress slips on over the hips and chest, it's tight enough that you think it won't fit, but luckily those body parts are softer PVC, so there's enough give to make it work. Just plug the arms back in once the dress is on.

No, the HT dress can be removed and the custom dress pulled on without disassenbling anything more major. At least with Coco's custom dress.

Dumb question - should the Hot Toys Leia undergarment be removed or kept on for the dress replacement?

The Yunsil dress has been sitting on my desk for the last couple years and I finally got around to swapping out the Hot Toys. But I noticed Leia has an extra undergarment beneath the dress.
Sorry if this was addressed before.

i sold my leia but kept the Yunsil dress. i have a custom leia that has the hot toys sculpt. would like to find the hot toys boots to give her instead of the sideshow ANH leia boots. but no such luke

I guess it depends on the background or my lighting is not that good, could not tell she was garmet-less in my display shelf.

What type(s) of spare 1/6 body are compatible with Princess Leia?

I’m thinking of kit bashing a cheap Leia for the Millennium Falcon dio with the spare Hot Toys dress.

I won’t need the boots, belt and undergarments since those will be hidden or obscured when she’s sitting in the cockpit.

It wasn't until I saw clear pictures of her in the prison cell that the dress is see through on her legs, so the slip covering the top of her legs is correct.

Hmm, don't think I've had any issues and I was on the original run. I'll check them out when I'm home again.

Yunsil only came with the robe, no undergarments (it's like tight upper top with a skirt flap to cover her rear).

I just put the undergarment back onto the Leia body, just in case it stains the Yunil dress.
