Blofeld arrived the other day and looks great! Problems with the camera so no fotos, but it will please. Anybody want to point me in the right direction to get him painted?

Spenser--

I'm ready to send you the payment for the Blofeld--- just waiting on that painted Auric. Did you manage to send him out yet?

That’s because not many bought one. You Wor-gar and Les, I think that’s it, I know DarthNeil want one as soon as he get his painted Goldfinger head.

I shipped Les’s off last week; he should have received them by now.

Also... I’ll most likely not be doing Largo. There’s just not enough interest.

I'll definitely be PAYPALing you the dough for Blofeld once Auric arrives. I think it's a tremendous likeness and I'm really a fan of your work Spenser...
I think you've even made me rethink my Bond poker diorama as I now might have the Legacy Connery playing off against his key villains (Dr.No, Goldfinger, Blofeld) in a game with other Bonds and villains in the background.

I'll be sending you money asap; it's been a tough month on the figure budget.

We should publicize that it is available again. Maybe a new thread?

Spenser,
That sucks about not too many people picking this one up. You did a bang up job on him as well as Goldfinger. Surely there is a way to get more interest. Maybe people see how long the thread is and don't want to jump in? You don't have to name numbers or anything, but was Goldfinger a good seller or same story? I mean, I know more people bought him, but I am not sure how many. I would have loved a Largo, but I understand that without the sales why we won't see him. I thought more fans would have been over these because they look great and sideshow isn't doing any villains. Well, whatever happens, you've been good to us and I appreciate it

Edit: Could we maybe get a thread going in buy/sell?

Hi Spenser.

I bought your Goldfinger Figure with Tux and one unpainded Blofeld head!!!

and you ship it to me!! do you Know, how long it will take to Germany?

it now three weeks ago, when you shipt Goldfinger and Blofeld!! I can´t wait to

see them!!!!:monkey5

Pumuckl: I sorry that it’s taking so long, I thought you would have had them by now. I can tell you that my post office had all new people and I had to sing and dance just to get it shipped. They may have given me a longer ship time and I would never know. All I can say is give it a little more time.

Steven, I just want to say, you have done a magnificent job on these heads.
This Goldfinger astonishes me still...

No, I haven't received the Blofeld yet, but I trust that I will soon enough. It is a holiday weekend afterall.
But, again, your work on these is outstanding. Just look at the photo for crying out loud! It is a PERFECT likeness!

I think the slowdown is not in the sheer procurement of your works, as I think anyone that collects 12" James Bond figures wants them, it's just that to have the figure, they need the heads painted and on a body and in clothes. And, to get to that point, they know they have more dollars to lay out, and trouble to go to, and are maybe not too sure how to get those things. I don't even know how to find that Goldfinger body and clothes yet. But, I am grateful for your work on that head. I have it, and I know that one day, I will have a finished Goldfinger.
That is worth it to me. But, I am a customizer. It would be a different thing for me.

Truth be told, if you could make sets of the attire and a fat suit or something, as a kit, so that everyone could get all that too, then you might see sales skyrocket! I think you'd have a winner. But, you'd have to make all those outfits and sell them for a lower price to make these all move.
You should at least consider it, and maybe make you some Goldfinger and Blofeld "Custom Kits", a low number perhaps, and sell all the gear as one. Or, heads and then gear.

Whatever you do, just know, that Goldfinger is one of the sharpest likeness sculpts I have ever had the priviledge of having, much less getting to paint. It is again, OUTSTANDING! You deserve more sales.
I would stand and cheerlead for you all day if they would sell more, and not so I could paint them, but so these folks could simply have them as well.

Whatever comes of it, valiant effort my man. You deserve serious commendation for making them available. I sure wish you'd make a Largo, and a Red Grant. You may be missing the boat on those, especially Robert Shaw, but your call. I respect your feelings on this. I just wish I had in me what it took to talk you into more. :D

Again, bravo my friend. I really appreciate what you've done.

Spenser,

I definitely want one of your Blofeld sculpts if you still have one for me. Please just let me know if you do and I'll Paypal the $ to you right away. Thanks!

Btw, you did an amazing job on DP's likeness. I watched 'You Only Live Twice' again the other day (for the zillionth time) and I think you nailed him perfectly. I really hope I can add him to my JB collection. Hope to hear from you soon. :)

If assembling the eventual figure wasn't such a scavenger hunt, I'd get these heads tomorrow. I just don't have time to build customs anymore. The sculpts are really great.

Good news about the shipping, thanks Spenser!

Sorry to hear that sales have been slow. All I can think is that maybe people have gone on vacation for the holiday and for CIV. More interest may return this week when everyone returns. I hope.

Bad news about Largo but I can understand if the sales just aren't there. This is what happened to the Bond line with SS.

BRAVO to you for the great sculpts you've done for us! I'm more than happy with Goldfinger and Blofeld -- absolutely brilliant sculpts as anyone who's seen them can attest. Any other sculpts would have been gravy. These were the key two.

I can definitely start a new thread once we get pics of the painted Blofeld. A new thread with pictures would really help I think. Especially once the whole figure if finished with clothing and all.

Anyway, thank you again Spenser for everything! You've been great.
