Well it's not Boromir, but I haven't seen any images posted of this yet, which surprises me, but here's Aragorn done up like early Two Towers with Boromir's duds added, I like how they look on him.

That looks phenomenal---- Now I know exactly how I want (one of) my Aragorn (s) to look.

As The Two Towers is my favorite of the trilogy and I love the Helm's Deep scene (having recreated part of it recently mixing the Armies of Middle Earth small series far away for perspective with Toybiz's guys up close and bloody----) I'll definitely pose Arogorn this way...

Nice. I could definately see this as a SDCC exclusive for this year. Gives us an Aragorn from the rest of the films and his elven cloak. We'd probably get a better painted stubble-beard as well.

I agree that would make a perfect SDCC Exclusive. I hope they have one from LOTR this year to help keep the energy going on the LOTR line after Boromir and what should be an fantastic piece in Faramir.

I actually didn't photoshop any of the Boromir pics I've done, I just opened a picture of some woods and mountains and blew it up on my computer monitor then photographed the figures in front of it framing the shot so you couldn't see the outter edge of the monitor, so they're just straight photographs.

Great pics as usual MaulFan...

By the time my Waitlist converts, the snow will be gone and this picture party will have moved on... :( (ok...self pity party over)

If these great shots have taught me anything it's pre-order, pre-order, pre-order...no matter what! Should've known Sideshow would knock this outta the park!

Now, what to do with that extra Boromir sans Vambraces? There's gotta be a custom possibility in their somewhere!

You realize, there's the scene where Boromir is in a dirge boat. By that time he no longer wears his vambraces, and you could put the cloven horn (from Faramir's exclusive) with Boromir. About the only customizing you'll need to do is how to make his eyes seem shut.

here's a few pics of the son of denethor...only changes i made to mine was to switch out the cloth chain mail for some of the dragon/dml rubberized sculpted mail...great freakin' figure...

That looks awesome. Where can this be purchased?

dragon made a couple of figures with chain mail mainly from the timeline series (based on the horrid movie). de kere and lord arnaut were the two that had full sleeve chain mail. they also did a viking (olaf) that had a chain mail tunic and short sleeves. you can find loose pieces at some of the online stores like monkey depot or echobase toys.

I swear I'm gonna stop posting pictures, everytime I finally get my figure, which is like 5 days after the first people, the discussion dies, it's like I kill it, this sucks, where'd everyone go.

Calm down. First off, its the weekend, and most threads on this forum die over the weekend. I'm here tonight only because I'm home sick with a cold.

Your pictures are great, MF, but I was kind of waiting for some more, maybe some generic but great shots just to see your figure good and clear with a bit of a review.

For some reason, a lot of people received theirs but then they don't post pictures. Like Customikey. He used to post alot but now I think he focuses on customs more.

I realize it's Friday night, it's just a general pattern that doesn't work out for me, by the time I get my figures and can join the conversations they seem to have died off, oh well, I plan to shoot more, I was photoshopping an illustration for a friend at work the past 2 nights, it was her birthday so Boromir had to wait so I could get it done in time.

300 was awesome, I enjoyed it a lot. Time for me to buy some prop replicas.
