Hey, has anybody tried to make the cloak Boromir is wearing when he arrives to Rivendell? I really love that cloak and it would make the figure look perfect!
Oh and...please, if anybody doesn´t want the Lothlorien cloak or knows of someone or some store, maybe on ebay, that sells it, please let me know, it´s the only thing I regret about not being able of getting the exclusive.

I'm making the fur cloak . . . should have the first one done in a little while. It's actually really easy, and I found just the thing to use for the clasps on it. It'll look great when it's done!

If I can get the materials I should be able to make a few; as for pictures I'll need a camera, which is harder than it seems for me. We'll see what happens. In any case, I'll definitely put a few up for sale--it'll just be a couple of weeks though.

Hey guys, I´ve got a question, I have just finished taking LOTS of pics to my Boromir (more than 200, lol) and just noticed his scabbard is almost all in black and I think the real one in the movie is red.
I am going to paint it so it is like the real one but just wanted to know if your Boromir´s scabbards are black too instead of red. Just wondering, maybe I got an unpainted one

Finally!!! Some pics of my Boromir!!! (sorry for the poor quality, it was cloudy and had to take the pics in the kitchen with lights on)
Chainmail sleeves and weathering set are on their way so will take more pics when Boromir is "complete"
(The background sucks I know, it wasn´t that horrible brownish colour it looks here)

Great pics, m'Lady!
Seeing those pics just reminded me of how much I love how the factory painted around the eyes. Something about the redness just really looks good to me.

Thank you guys! Although I will try not to use so much light next time and change the background, I don´t like how it looks, maybe a darker one will work better.
I enjoyed taking pics of him, you can place him in almost every pose, it´s cool! I took more than 200 pics and saved about 20 only, lol
Next time I will post pics of him after the weathering and when I get the chainmail sleeves

I like this figure, and the character is one of my fav's, the worst part though is the the red around the eyes (looks like he's been crying) the flat paint on the face ( I know we often say the are too shiney) and the material chainmail. other then that it's a great figure.

Well, I have no problem with the red around the eyes, it isn´t so much red and IMO it makes the face look more real, anyway yoU can always add a little bit of skin tone pigment to cover it, like make up, if you don´t like it
As for the flat tone...no problem at all with it, it looks great IMO.
And you can buy chainmail sleeves for him to wear, I bought a pair last week
