A friend of mine received his statue and the straps are not broken!
So lucky. Wow

Hey guys, I just wanted to know if you have noticed tiny fissures/cracks on your Boromir's hair. I've posted mine here, you can see 2 parallel fissures on the hair. I've noticed it too on some of the other collectors' photos. I've tried moving it a bit, it's moving slightly revealing a narrow crack. I'm afraid it's gonna fall off. Was it just the paint applied, or the material the hair was made of, or just me being too fussy? :lol

Mine arrived yesterday and like many others one of the straps on his hand holding the flag was bent and cracked. I was able to straighten it out. My biggest concern is actually how the upraised upper arm piece attaches to the body. The magnet is very weak and as a result the arm is loose. Then when I attached the sword to the upper arm piece it adds even more weight to it, causing it to fall out if I move the statue in the slightest. Anyone else have this problem? I'm going to try wedging a small piece of paper in the socket and see if that tightens it up. Other than those issues, I think Boromir looks fantastic. Great paints apps on the head and the chain mail especially.

I dont have this problem. The hand with sword is well fix to the arm and i have to pull hard enough to detach it. My magnet is just find like the other statue i have. Ex aragorn head, legolas hands, lurtz PF hands.

My big problem is still my lazy eye. I sent a email last monday and no news from sideshow. My straps are broken but i think i can live with it and fix it with Krazy glue. But hope they replace my head and give at least a partial refund for not perfect product.

Anyone got news from sideshow about their problems?

i'd send Sideshow an email and tell them you arn't happy with the magnets in the arms and ask for new arms.

Master - nice shots man!

Mister - with the arm that points up make sure you have the part of the cape go over the horn all the way. Could be why it's not connecting all the way.

My sword arm doesnt fall off, but the magnet is also very weak. Like if you touch the arm it drops a bit. I will have to insert some paper in to secure it properly when placed for display.

Mines not loose at all. Like I said the arm pointing up has part of the cape attached and you just make sure that's over the horn. That helps lock the piece into place when the magnet connects.

I have the cape going between the horn and his body.

Doesn't it go under the horn?

Exactly.

This is just like mine.
