Don't be scared Ween. Its a great looking statue.

I had a slightly bent strap which straightened out just fine. I noticed it was the way the foam closed down on it which was causing the breakage. Other thing was the piece you add to the top of the flag is slightly crooked, but that will be an easy fix too.

The face is perfectly painted. Really good job. Better than my Aragorn. I LOVE the flag!

I would be very nervous to ever resell this piece, though I have no thought of it. You'd have to really repackage it well.

At first I wasn't so sure about a polystone flag, but I think this one turned out great. The sculpted caught-in-the-wind look is flawless and gives the statue just a little extra.

I agree it's that little extra bit that sets it all off and helps capture that moment nicely. It just helps show that the character really was a hero of middle-earth.

So is the display box the same as the more recent ones in the maquette line, just the maquette's name on a dark background?

Box is the same as far as graphics go but instead of a matte material is more like the old SSW boxes.

I got an email back from Sideshow. They told me they would not be able to replace Boromir but they would give me a credit towards my purchase of Boromir. Not the best result but atleast Sideshow offered the credit. I think I'll go that route instead of returning it. Thanks Sideshow!

I would say that the sculpted flag looks about a million times better than it would if it were fabric. It's pretty convincing at this scale, and the folds and ripples couldn't be reproduced like this with a fabric banner.

No replacement body. Short in stock.

No replacement for the head with the lazy eye. They said their replacement is not better than mine!?!? ( They got replacement head with lazy eye!?!? )

They offer a 50$ credit for the next purchase or get a full refund including duty and taxes.

They suggested me to use Zag a Gap to fix my broken strap. I bought Krazy glue, is it the same?

What you guys think?

I would get a full refund for that lazy eye and then reorder...unless it's the EX...which it probably is. If there's one thing I can't stand it's lazy eyes and almost all of them look okay so i'd be pissed if I got one.

Zap-A-Gap+ and Krazy Glue are not exactly the same. They are both cyanoacrylate-based glues, but ZAG+ contains additional bonding agents that help it work better on materials where simple CA glues don't quite do the job.
