Becareful with the pre-orders. You have no protection with credit card or eBay/Paypal if older than 30-45 days. It's best to make sure Bowen doesn't delay their shipment first. My guess is one of them will be delayed until December.

OH MY GOD. I JUST GOT THE THOR BOWEN FB DELIVERED. JUST BARELY OPENED IT, AND HE IS ABSOLUTELY F'N INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL.
I still need to inpsect for any damage, but just had to see this is the best piece of the PB line.

Actually Nash, the Spidey is the only one I don't really want. I just didn't like his pose or sculpt. I know others do, but not my flavor. I fI could have gotten him for Bowen's discounted price rather than stupidly sitting by and contemplating it while they all sold out, maybe. But I was able to get most of these for near retail after the 30% LIVE discount.
Ive heard the complaints about the spidey sculpt. Ive owned one for a few days until I returned it due to defective painting. but imo i didnt see anything wrong with the sculpt. I actually liked it a lot. For some reason the head looks much bigger in pics than it actually is in person. weird.
But I agree, it would even be a hard decision for me if I didnt get these at the bowen discounted price.

of all the pieces, Hulk is definately the heaviest/largest, followed by Thor. Wolverine is small in comparison.
I expect Abomination to be similar in size to Hulk.

Having second thoughts about Doom FB. It seems smaller that the other Bowen FB pieces, not in actual hight, but because he's standing on that tower, he's a smaller scale I belive. Can anyone confirm this? I have never seen the colored version in person, but I've seen the box. It seemed small.

I was looking up the heigths yesterday, and he definately seems smaller fromt he specs. I think he was spec'd at 13". Which doesn't make sense as to why he was $50 more in retail than the others ($350 vs. $300)

I just received my first Bowen figure, faux bronze Cap. I love it! I also pre-ordered the faux bronze Spidey & DD to display along with my SIM. I'm hoping that the three Bowen figs will display well with my SIM. What do you guys think? Do you think the Bowen figs are too small to display with SIM?
