Goodness forbid these would be made to order. That's what most producers would try to do with items which don't appear to be all that high in demand. Obviously, there are many people who enjoy BD's product. These seemingly impulsive reactions to suddenly release (likely pricey) tiny runs, as if to teach a faction of the fanbase a lesson, or worse, manufacture a collectible 'just because', seems so unnecessary.

I'm not interested in this piece. However, it seems silly to penalize those who do want one because there are others who think it's a bad idea. It reminds me of that kid in the school yard who ran home with his ball all upset because he wasn't picked first or didn't get his way. This is not the way to treat or reward your paying fanbase.

Give the people what they want. It's business ethics 101. BD products are fun commodities. These haven't generally been viewed or speculated as collectibles in a long while. BD should make as many as they can. This wishy washy 'one day we're about producing all these variants for the fans', and the next day 'we're about super limited run collectibles', is making the fanbase head spin.
