Hi all! I'm not really following this thread but last posted here as a request from Vlad. Anyhow, he has been slow in replying to me too, but last he contacted me he said he was back from Japan but injured his hand. He owes me something as well, so I'm hoping he still comes through with things.

Not sure what's going on with him and Dave but he's been very prompt with his replies thus far via email. I hope everything works out and we can all get our armor.

I just talked to Vold via email again. He hasn't made much progress with the armor because his left hand is still broken and he's having trouble sewing the armor with one hand. He hopes to continue with the work later next week. So everyone who's still waiting, please be patient because that's all we can do at this point.

However i think he has been banned from here because someone left bad feedback while he was in japan. Just wanted to let you all know. Maybe you could contact a mod and try sort things out to get him back on. Good luck with the custom

You're right he has been banned... if he wants to be reinstated I think he needs to contact Dave about resolving the issue.

I thought I would jump in here and just say that I'm sorry but Vold is indeed banned from the Forum.
I tried to sort things out with him before banning him but since he failed to rectify a large $$ problem and continually ignored messages he left no alternative.
The reason he was banned related to a transaction made last year and not while he has allegedly been in Japan. The feedback was only left for him then, but the transaction itself took place months earlier.

So, until he contacts me (which he was meant to at the end of March) to try and sort this problem out he will remain banned. I am willing to speak to him to help sort this problem out but he needs to contact me first like he said he would. Dave is also aware of all the circumstances surrounding his banning.

I hope things work out for you all and you get the armour you may have paid for.
Anyway, I just wanted to update you peeps about what has happened since questions were being raised about him.
Anyone has any other questions, please feel free to contact me .

Hopefully his hand is healing and everything will work out. I've been absent from the thread for a while. Has anybody worked out what to do with the kilt?

Yes, you've got it good, basically.

However, DO NOT copy the replica model that is sold on the web. It's wrong and is missing a whole row of plate! The correct number is 4, not 3!!!

Also, when I was making my figure, I believe I freeze-framed the film and discovered that there are three straps in the back, not two.

Update on the kilt: Deniz was able to print the pattern on a fabric.

You can see the results for yourselves. If you like it, you can order both the tunic and kilt from his website once he posts the links.

As for Vold, he emailed me last week stating that he is still in the process of making them and should have an update for us some time this week.
