Hi guys! Again, I've posted here in the past just to give you all a heads up about Vlad/ Vold in the past when he was in Japan. We've been in touch around that time and once he returned home, but ever since I've had terrible luck getting a reply from him. I was working out a deal/ trade with him in which I've sent him some pricey items in hopes to get them returned customized, but it's been close to a year now and I still have nothing. He says he has some health issues and is in a sanatorium, so I'm not sure what to think. I've e-mailed him several times with no reply, so I'm posting here in hopes someone else might know what's up? I just hope I didn't get suckered out of losing the stuff I sent him, especially after thinking he's been cool all this time. I'd appreciate any info on Vlad. Thanks!

I've just found that he messed up here too.
I'm sorry, but I have to tell you that your chances to get anything from him are pretty low.
He was banned from biggest russian collector's community (well, the only one +- big russian collector's community ) for not delivering stuff that he promised.
It was a shock in one way for me because I'm one of the admins of this community & also I'm and Vladimir (Vold) was a friends in real life. Well, not real friends for life, but we were pretty good buddies, hang out a lot & etc. But that wasn't something that could stop him in the end. He scammed a few peoples, including one of his real life friend (not me but another board member there too).
He had troubles in his personal life but that was not an excuse for that. He kept buying figures & other stuff but still wasn't doing anything to sort the things out with his scammer-situation. It's something like two years now already & he is still trying to sort things out but that's only words & no actions.
For me personally - it was the biggest disappointment for all the years in this hobby.
The best example of the +- same person on this board is DarkArtist81 I believe.

He is a nice guy with great communication, but when he owes you something - get ready that this situation can change.
He uses a lot of excuses instead of trying just work the situation out. And he really has a lot of them.
He CAN deliver stuff, but it can take forever. If you wanna test your luck - go for it & give it a shot. But if you're the one who wants to deal with serious person that will deliver the stuff no matter what - think 1 000+ times before you will send him $$$ or figure.

Thank you very much for your reply and information about Vlad/ Vold. Though I'm very disappointed to hear this news, I know the items that I have sent him can be replaced someday. My biggest disappointment is not getting what I was promised from someone who really has some talent for customizing, but it's too bad that he has wasted this for his own selfish reasons. It was also a nice thought to have a friend in Russia, but again, he has destroyed that as well.
If you still have some contact with him, I hope that you may still give him some good influence to fulfill his promises or at least return what was given to him if he does not intent to finish these projects.
Again, thanks for giving us a heads up about this and at least I can stop holding my breath waiting for what was promised to me. It's too bad really...

I noticed you were also in contact with him during his "supposed" service work in Japan. Now I don't know what to believe with this guy who supposedly broke his hand and is now recovering from some mystery sickness... Too much stalling, but I was hopeful that maybe was just really having some bad luck and would still fulfill his promises. I'm out about $400 worth of stuff, which really sucks, but I try to be optimistic and figure that will come back to me someday in another form or another. You know, Karma and what not... I sent him yet another e-mail that wasn't as "friendly" as my previous e-mails, so we'll see if he will at least reply to that.

I sculpted the original pieces, both the head and the Claymore, and was hoping by now to have seen you all work your magic with the casts. I know Boondock was more than honest and upfront in all his dealings with me, so hopefully that gives a little peace of mind that he'll come through with his part...
