Didn't anyone also feel like this had like Superbowl-isque ads for a tv show? And I could never tell this show was popular. Almost everyone on my Facebook has a Breaking Bad status. lol Now I can't. I don't want to be a cookie cutter person. :(

Nah. I don't think so. It felt like a typically AMC show ad, but I don't think anything over the top per se'. I mean. It's BB. So I'd get awestruck over anything pertaining to it, but I didn't get that vibe. (If I'm understanding you correctly.)

Nobody understands me, correctly. :monkey2

Trust me, if you like Breaking Bad, you will definitely like Orange is the New Black. To me, it's Breaking Bad, but as I said, not as intense. Having said that, the show has many layers and the two main female characters are much more attractive than Walt and Jesse. Unless, you errrr ummm, swing for the other team. And that's okay, I'll support you all the way Buffy Fan No. 2! :hi5:

hehe

I'm amazed at how your posts start out as reply-worthy, then digress.....I don't even know why I try, Eli. :lol

To a very minuscule extent, this show actually gives me hope for humanity. That this many people can actually appreciate something this, legitimately, good, blows my mind. You aren't a cookie cutter person, if you watch it, it's just so good that even the cookie cutter people enjoy it.:lol

Very happy and content with the finale. Great ending to a great show.

And looks like last week Damon Lindelof was right about the hint of the ending.

Possible foreshadowing through that easter egg?

You know what's interesting. The show averaged 1.5 million viewers for 4 seasons, and in the last season (season 5) it was averaging 4 -6+ million viewers. I'm not sure what happened or how it got so popular after 4 years?

I hated Jesse and I wanted to see him die.

Yet, his final moments in the car screaming. I felt good for him. I felt joy in his escape.

I Felt happiness about seeing him get away in the car....

I think it was word of mouth that boomed by S5. I think that's what helped to hook me initially.
