I enjoy the prequels. Oddly, it's AOTC that bothers me the most. I think it's the general lack of urgency about anything. Everyone is stoned.

lol... stoned yoda!!! sorry but i agree the prequels really arent that bad. maybe because im in the middle of the age gap. granted they dont come anywhwere close to the OT as far as acting, but how can anyone compare to alec guiness, and harrison ford?? i also enjoyed TPM very much, and overlook all the crap that everyone complains about. its star wars... what more do you need?? nothing could've lived up to the hype that the prequels had. :emperor

If you just accept that the prequels are simply very different types of films in every respect (starting from design on up) then it's much easier to accept the films themselves.

Sure, they have well-documented faults and are not on par with the OT. But I like them. Sue me.

I grew up watching the prequels. TPM was disappointing in a lot of ways, I enjoyed ATOC, and ROTS rocks. ITs star wars, its fun and entertaing, PT or OT for ME.

I grew up watching the OT and I agree with you. TPM was total crap (almost unwatchable in my eyes,) AOTC was pretty cool and ROTS was awsome.. although non of them are as good as the OT.

I can see we're about to retread this ground, so I'll take the first step.

My big problem with the Prequels right now is that, if there is one character we should care deeply for more than all others, it's Padme. And she's the most gawdawful character in the series.

Yes, I did like Darth Maul, Obi-Wan, Count Dooku, and Qui-Gonn. But, other then that, they really were nothing special IN MY OPINION.

But, for me the Original movies are by far head and shoulders better.

Just my 2 cents.
