This is what I was thinking too. But it is so sad nonetheless. May she RIP.

I hadn't heard this until I logged on here. "Sad news" is certainly an understatement. What a talented actor. Her performance in "Don't Say a Word" was one of her most memorable IMO. I am deeply saddened by this, and I wish her family and friends the best during this tragic time. While she will undoubtedly be missed, I'm certain that Brittany is in a much better place now.

That's so sad. The last time I saw her she was extremely thin. I have to wonder if it wasn't anorexia. I know she used to be cute and pudgy and took alot of flack for her weight. Didn't she marry a real loser?

I hate posts like this. Proves how idiotic people can be. Nobody deserves to die, even if they abuse their body. Is it surprising when something bad like death happens? No. But do they deserve death? Hell no. WTF is wrong with people like you?

Age or shape has nothing to do with it. I am in great shape, low body fat, great cardio shape... strong and fit, but I stress like nobody's business. I could get a cardiac arrest from that alone. I seen athletes die of cardiac arrest younger than Brittany, who are much fitter. It happens. You don't have to be overweight, out of shape and old to have cardiac arrest.

I almost forgot about her performances in "8 Mile" and "Girl, Interrupted." Two more reasons why she'll be missed. Rest in peace, Brittany.
