I've always wanted to pick up this guy but has the price really gone over $200??

Considering I personally feel it needs a True Type upgrade, over $200 is a bitter pill.

I would still pay it though as Inception is very special to me.

Inception is special to me as well but the fact that he could of been had at $135 turns me off

I have this slight feeling that Enterbay will acquire the license and make some figures though.

Well there certainly is no accounting for personal taste, but I would be curious what recent film you think is more original in terms of concept/plot.

District 9 yeah, even though it doesn't seem to entertain as well after the first viewing. But Inglorious Basterds? You do know that was a remake right? Plus the editing in that movie is atrociously boring for a Tarantino film.

What was Inglorious Basterds a remake of? If you are referring to the 1977 film with the same title, all that was really taken from that film was the title.

IB was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Cannot see a real plot in there. Its a stupid WW2 Team America movie. Only difference Team America was supposed to be funny. This isnt. No interest for history or whatever. Stupid.

IB and inception were polar opposites for me. the first time i watched inception i was very impressed, blown away. first time i saw IB i was not impressed at all. second time i watched inception, i was underwhelmed. once the novelty of the special effects and general concept wore off, i didn't like any of the characters, found the central plot quite undramatic. IB on the other hand, i absolutely loved the second time. as an alternate universe movie the history wasn't important to me, and the script was strong and the characters very memorable. but as mag said, these things are all personal.

anyway, this figure looks really good. that suit has great tailoring for a bootleg. i like that they included a closed eyes sculpt - very cool way to display him i think - with the dream machine attached it's more recognizable as cobb from inception.

Although I still maintain Inception was the most original plot idea in years, it's not the plot that makes it special to me.

It's the subtext. And that's why it holds up to repeated viewings. The subtext has profound meaning for me.

The dreaming head almost seems to have abetter likeness too. I'm gonna be utilizing it in the very near future...

I agree that the eyes closed likeness is actually better.

I'm gonna say it... I own this and the Feng head, original not recast. I'm thinking of selling the Feng head. both heads on these are just better...

Those who are holding out about the price or whatever, it's only gonna go up.. you should have struck while the iron was hot. But if you want it better get it now... or you're just gonna whine about it in the future

This is the best mass produced unlicensed figure out of 2011 by a mile.
