Re: Brother Production - "EXCEPTION" Dream Extractor (lol)

Sweet Mags! The set looks really nice, the suit and HS and really good! Is the dream machine (My nickname in High school BTW) pretty awesome?

Re: Brother Production - "EXCEPTION" Dream Extractor (lol)

Yeah, I love the dream machine. Now if I can just figure out how to hook him up to it...

Re: Brother Production - "EXCEPTION" Dream Extractor (lol)

No way to hook him up out of the box huh? Not to big of a deal though. Erm, maybe really thin gage protector for wire? Tuck that underneath his sleeves. Try a hardware store.
When are you gonna have all the pics of him in your collection thread buddy? :)

Re: Brother Production - "EXCEPTION" Dream Extractor (lol)

To hook him up to the machine u just take off one of his hands and loop one of the clear elastic loops around his wrist. It's o Lu supposed to connect to one side as multiple guys used the same machine in the movie

Re: Brother Production - "EXCEPTION" Dream Extractor (lol)

Those familiar with brothers productions knows that every offering has something value usually with the outfits but their offerings can be really hit or miss.

Let me assure you this is their biggest hit. The heads are a hair below hot toys, they've worked to strengthen their paint jobs and soften their sculpts. The eyes closed sculpts are especially impressive. It's an excellent likeness, keep in mind I also have the feng sculpt. This is a better sculpt . Fengs likeness may be better thoug.

The outfit is more ore less quite accurate to the plane end scene look

Again you will be disappointed with the suit on a narrow shoulder TrueType but on sn enterbay Che body it looks great. U will also need to shorten the neck adapter . The body it comes with as with all brother production bodies are bottom of the line.

Dream machine, gun, paint aps on the hand. All top notch.

Lastly DO NOT WHATSOEVER BUY THIS FrOm STORE ROOMS!!!!!

They recast all Their brothers production figures and swap out parts for cheap alternatives. Then they sell the good heads on eBay. Hey are sneaky crooks. You won't get the nice heads in Mglors pics if you go with them.

Re: Brother Production - "EXCEPTION" Dream Extractor (lol)

Just got mine in today and all I can say is WOW. Very impressive figure especially for the price.

Re: Brother Production - "EXCEPTION" Dream Extractor (lol)

...looks best on the new Enterbay bodies. Hot toys narrow shoulder is too wide for the suit.

I don't get this. The shoulders that come with the figure are wider than a narrow shoulder True Type.

Anyway, I'm using a narrow shoulder TT, and I'm quite happy with it. I only briefly put the shirt and jacket on to make sure they would fit (they fit better than they did on the body it came with) but right now it's still nude. I am doing a couple mods to it. I already shortened the forearms, now I need to deal with the neck.

U will also need to shorten the neck adapter.

So you shortened the adapter as opposed to the neck itself?

Here's a few more shots of the heads:

Damn close to HT quality here.

Re: Brother Production - "EXCEPTION" Dream Extractor (lol)

Cool mags, I'm hoping I score this guy on Xmas, for someone like me, who doesn't like to mod their figs in fear, be happy with it out of the box. I have no problem switching out the body, but as far as shortening neck posts etc. It scares me a bit. :lol

Can't wait to see some cool pics in your collection thread man.

:lol I used to feel the same way. One day I worked up the nerve to use an emery board to file down the shoulders on the old standard True Type. Then I bought a dremel and never looked back. :)

That said, I think you will be happy with this figure without even swapping out the body. It will limit posing options, but for a basic pose it wears the suit nicely.

Thanks man, I hope to take some this week at some point. :1-1:

Re: Brother Production - "EXCEPTION" Dream Extractor (lol)

:lol well, I tried a couple things with my movie masters a couple years ago, and well....it didn't turn out too good. :lol I'm a decent artist but suck at 3D stuff like sculpting and pottery.
Anyways, the suit looks really nice, as well with the dream machine. I might have to pick up this guy regardless if I don't get him for the holiday. What pose have you decided on?

Re: Brother Production - "EXCEPTION" Dream Extractor (lol)

Lots of ideas for poses...

Not sure what I will end up with, but I definitely want to take advantage of the chair.

I like this guy's pose, maybe just some futzing and tweaking to the left hand. Could be perfect.

Re: Brother Production - "EXCEPTION" Dream Extractor (lol)

Wow, that's actually very close to what I had in mind. I would like to have him hunched forward with his elbows on his knees though (which would not be possible with the stock body).

I was wondering what the little strip of metal that came with the figure was. I now see it's his tie clip. :D

[Had to stop the video when he said: "I didn't see the movie, I fell asleep." :monkey4]

You just described exactly what I had in mind for poses. :lol I put him on mute right when I started the video. Kind of an annoying dude. Can you take the silencer off the gun?

Re: Brother Production - "EXCEPTION" Dream Extractor (lol)

Wow that video was actually really good... although the guy was annoying, he thoroughly showed the figure and all the parts and I respect that!

Where is this guy available for ordering nowadays (aside from evilbay?) Might have to pick him up after all!

Re: Brother Production - "EXCEPTION" Dream Extractor (lol)

That they do! :lol
Sweet. I hope they make an Arthur or even a Eames in a snow outfit. That would be great.

Everything looks pretty awesome from your pics though. Does the dream machine come with any way to hook him up to it?

Re: Brother Production - "EXCEPTION" Dream Extractor (lol)

So many great customs I want. How much is this guy selling for? If he's not too much I might be able to fit him into the 2012 budget.
