Building your MARINES - CORRECTLY

I'd love to get hold of some of those! Any chance you can tell us where it came from evilalive?

I'm working on a new dio and would love to get Frost, Deitrich etc to go with these guys:

Nice picture i love it.

a kitbash custom with this stuff would b great, 4 a Wiersbasky Crowe Frost etc.
But ,who know's maybe HT got something special 4 the 25 years anniversery of ALIENS.
I heard that only on the Terminator 2 line Howard is gonna go wild with 3 versions of the T-800 incl A T-800 endo + of-cours the T-1000.
Also picked something up about some other movie classics Maybe ALIENS but With a 100% guaranty on a new Terminator 1 line.

They need to bring us a 1/6 queen to go with the loader.

The repaint HT Ripley-head is A-nother awesome job by Space Jockey.
Hicks his head is also painted by the Jock.

Looks Awesome.Id recommend going back through this thread and finding the posts on darkening the armor and weathering.Also Id weather the uniforms by soaking them in grey paint and leaving them in the sun.
This process can be tedious but if you get it right the results are excellent and it gets rid of the yellow in the camo.

I saw that stendec's figure a while ago. Thats a great and awesome look that he has got 4 his HICKS.
I think that he used a airbrush set for the dark look.

Drake has a nice tan ,2 bad that he is the most pale of the marines seen on screen.

Hes comin.but Im not doing him in combat armor.Got my FML sculpt from someone who purchased a blank.It still needs to be painted.
Couldnt be bothered repainting drake at the moment.
But yeah definitely has to much of a tan but oh well thats how ht made him

The best way to darken the armor is to paint it black and wipe it off quickly.Also try getting a cloth and dipping it in some black paint,take your time with this and make sure you have some water handy incase you mess up.

I have drake and most of Hicks coming so they will be placed on this when I get them.

Looks awesome.Are you sure there is enough room for Hicks and Drake on it,looks kinda small for two.

I think that he used the sovereign armsleeves.
Sovereign studio here on the board sells those easy 2 add sleeves.
Sovereign studio has got normal guy sleeves and muscle arm sleeves. Realy great stuff!!!.
