A tease of another project I'm working on...

Thanks for the comments guys. But none of you have guess who it is yet :D

I haven't painted the stuff I've added to the Kroenen sculpt yet, so that may be throwing you guys off a bit. But you guys aren't too far off (I think).

I'm guessing Jigsaw?

We have a winner! :D

Obviously it isn't the movie Jigsaw, but more of the comic look with my own take on it. Kroenen's head was really the perfect base sculpt to start with. Just kinda needed to connect some of the cuts and scars together and add some hair. Oh, and lips too.

A am also slowly working on his nemesis as well. Just picking up pieces here and there. I'm eventually going to need to grab Miketek's Punisher sculpt like Elvis used.

Pretty much done sculpting and painting Jigsaw. Maybe a few changes here and there based on feedback. I'm thinking the lips need to be darker and I'm thinking of adding an eye brow to the other side. And I'm also thinking about adding real stiches over the cuts. Feedback is welcome and appreciated.

Right now they are actually more open cuts than scars, hense why I think I should add the stitches. The cuts were stil pretty red/pink in the movie since he was recently scared. Plus the flash is making the colors a bit more intense than it is in person.

The thing about Jigsaw is that he always seems to have the stitches still on his face -- like his face never gets the chance to heal, or he gets re-messed up. So I think the all nice and red look good, but if there were scared up, then I totally agree. They would need to be lighter.

But thanks for the input!

oh...i never saw the movie.

but to me, from an artistic viewpoint, it just "POPS" out a bit too much...either do the stitches or fade the pink to make it look better...but besides that, it looks really creepy *in a good way*

No problem. Sometimes ubiased viewpoints help the most.

I'm fairly certain I'll add the stiches, but I think I'll practice on something first. I really would hate to mess this up at this point. If it doesn't work out, I can always fade them to scars.

But I am glad they do POP! Jigsaw is a very interesting character to look at visually. I honestly don't know a lot about the character other than he is a mobster and a Punisher villian, but he looks so awesome visually.

And here is a pic from the movie Jigsaw. As you can see, mine doesn't look like it, but still like I said, mine is more comic based.

Brant you are turning into a really good sculptor. I am especially impressed with the teeth for some reason.

I actually didn't do anything to the teeth. That was all Sideshow.

Here is a comparison of the original Kroenen sculpt and my own:

Amazing how different it looks with a little hair, some lips, and a few more cuts. Kinda strange just how much darker the muscle paint is around the real Kroenen in my pic. I didn't touch that area at all on Jigsaw.

But thnaks for the complement regardless. I suppose even the greats had to start somewhere. Maybe some day I'll make an acceptable sculpt without using a base sculpt :lol

But that is getting harder and harder with all of the great custom sculpts coming out now adays.
