Just got back from SDCC and this outfit was in my mail box! :D

Josh's head, Les' paint-up. Temp Sideshow body, so it should fit slimer/smaller bodies just fine!

Whoa! That looks killer! Great job BM!

Back when I made my ornament zombie, he was a pretty plain "civillian" zombie. After getting the school girl Babysitter, it got me thinking about mine again. What I came up with is a college professor zombie! All I added to the exisiting custom were the jacket, glasses, and pencil :D

Since he only came with one hand, had to come up with something for the other hand. So why no just a severed hand stump? The blood on his clothing is a result of the bleeding the wound might have caused. Haven't come up with an idea why he lost the hand though. I think it is obvious though that somebody tried to do a magic trick to his head but failed :lol Put it is the perfect excuse to have that hole(s) in the top of his head from the ornament string.

PS the blood on the clothing is still wet in this pic so that is why it looks so wet and fresh. It dries very close to the same color as what is on the real Sideshow figures.

Kuato painted an amazing makeup-less Joker for an Arkham look. I immediately loved the results and had to make one for myself as well. I was lucky enough to get Monkey Depot's last Orange Jumpsuit, so now I'm set. I'm working on a shank for him, but as soon as Kuato's head arrives, he'll be ready.

Until then my DA/Les combo head will make an excellent stand in until the make-up free head arrives. :D

This is really one of those outfits that will need some heavy futzing/water treatment since the Joker looks twice as big as he really is. One of the downsizes of a one-size-fits-all outfit. :lol

Placeholder? Never thought I woul dhear that.

No, no, no. It is FAR, FAR from a placeholder. What I meant was Kuato is painting my Chris Howes head without Make-up. Until that head arrives, I'm using my DA/Les head. He wouldn't be able to keep the make-up on in prison and that is why it is just place holding. It is one of my most prized items in my collection, so no, it would never be an actual place holder. I'm just slowly working on its permanent body/outfit (that is why he looks so pissed off).

And Barryo, thanks. Glad I'm not the only one that saw a professor in him :lol

To be honest, I personally have never done it. But basically, you get the outfit wet while on the figure and 'sculpt' the outfit to lay down better and look more realisitc before it dries. One dried, it ends up looking better. I'm considering doing it on this figure just because the jumpsuit is so big (again one-size-fits all) that it makes the Joker's body look really big, and therefore his head small in some shots.

Dave from Rebelscum is the one who really perfected/introduced the technique. But be careful, I've heard some outfits' colors will run, such as the Dead figures.

Your prison joker looks spot on Buttmunch. Where did you grab the 'cuffs? I need to track down that suit too

I got them awhile ago from Toy Anxiety. They don't fit the best. They've actually split open because the wrists are just slightly too big for them, but they stay on there so they'll do for now.

And thanks for all of the comments so far guys, but I really can't take most of the credit on this. I'm a "lazy customizer." I get people like Les, or Josh, or Chris to do the hard work of sculpting and/or painting most of these and I just clothe them. I also can't take credit on the Arkham Joker idea, that was calvarenga's idea. I just had to steal it when Kuato posted the photos of calvarenga's Joker. Very cool idea.

So thanks are due to everyone else on this :rock

You know, you should get a 2nd set of cuffs attached to his ankles and run a chain in between the two. The Joker is certainly the kind of guy who would choke you to death with his hand cuffs :lecture
