Someone on Facebook said that their planned release is for May - June. They also said that Buzztoys allegedly will not remain afloat after they're done with this figure.

Take this with a grain of salt until confirmed by Buzztoys themselves.

Buzztoys not able to financially carry itself? I call we won’t ever see this, maybe some units here and there on eBay. Sad. Will get in touch with my retailer to see what’s up.

I emailed Giantoy and they said their most recent update was that it would be out in June.

I don't like the rumors of BuzzToys going under because they're just that, rumors. All that does is lead to panic because there's no way we're getting confirmation of it. Let's just wait and see what happens with this figure first.

Agreed if they end up giving us a good figure we are all happy with I’m sure we will all say it was worth the wait and happy to get another one from them in the future. Just need to improve a little that’s all

I had preordered this with TNS figures- I did email them on 2/16 asking whether the figure was cancelled- they immediately responded: "we wont cancel, it is fake news. stop believing the fake news due to one shop said so. The item is still on going, latest release is April. thanks"

I emailed them on 5/26/23 for an update given the last estimate for release in April, and have not received a response.

However, I am seeing on various sites that the figure is now estimated to ship Q3, which means what, July - September? That is later than April/May/June. I guess they can just keep pushing the final ship date down the road indefinitely. I do wonder what is going on and why there is such a significant delay combined with no update.

So disappointed.

I recognize that it is an unsubstantiated rumor, but it does make me more nervous/unhappy given the circumstances (particularly the huuuuge delay and the radio silence as to why/when)

If they aren't saying that it is something like hair looked funny/box printed wrong, than I am wondering if the issue is something more concerning like they ran out of funds or there is something materially wrong with the production.

Only other issue would be they ran out of box material and had small qc issues but that's being optimistic I really do hope we see news soon. Otherwise I might kiss my Deposit good bye with TNS. Though I still have the SooSoo Pre-ordered this was my most wanted look.

Not sure what’s going on, quite shady to be honest. KG did not mention any reason behind it other than production delay, just that their out of control in this (duh) and they are putting some pressure on supplier. We’ll see, maybe we get a nice present to put under the tree!

If BuzzToys can't tell somebody exactly what the problem is (for example, there was an issue with the armor not fitting, or they ran out of cardboard for packing, or they don't have enough staff for assembly), I'm just going to cancel.

I probably would have already if R_R_X wasn't giving us updates. I don't think he was involved with the project - I believe he just knew the guy running the show, so while I feel bad cancelling, you think the artist behind BuzzToys would understand the need for good communication, especially for a new brand that's produced nothing yet.

If I were him, I wouldn't be posting in here anymore either after all the ridiculously rude and entitled posts he's had to put up with in other threads. I'm amazed at how impudent some people can be because their toy has been delayed, especially when someone partially responsible for the figures is giving as much information as they can (unlike this situation with Buzz Toys)

I think with R.R.X situation most companies or spokesman for one have to come to the conclusion it's best to only give updates when your product is almost done. The sad truth is communication with collectors goes wrong the majority of the time. That's why HT doesn't listen to anyone or updates people a figure is out when it's ready.
