Premium Format C-3PO & R2-D2 Premium Format Set

Still cant believe Sideshow's decision to split the exclusive onto 2 separate bases. Why not have the exclusive on one base??? Just bizarre! These 2 characters are meant to be displayed together not separately

Isn't it obvious? They're leaving it open to be able to offer each droid separately down the line, thereby luring in collectors like me who may prefer one droid over the other...

Yea, i heard abt this where Sideshow were catering for those who wanted to have the choice of having on or the other....still think its sucks! Which of the 2 are you after? Do you plan on selling the other?

Well I'm all about the Reg version in every way so I can't really talk. It's a bit weird but SS does pull some fast ones occasionally which I must admit is pretty cool. At least they don't see things in 1 dimension ya know?

I'm still holding out hope for a wait list conversion on the exclusive. There have been no updates to the list below since shortly after they sold out. I'm starting to like the clean, shiny look for 3PO much better than the overly weathered version.

That is Awesome. R2 is my fav also of the SW films. Always has been. But I like 3PO also. So I think it's great that the R2-D2 Premium format comes with a free C-3PO.

I did notice the pics of the droids PFs and to be honest its a bit like rubbing salt in a wound since only a handful of people actually will have the ability to have that set up.

Regardless, I like them including this photo, as it shows the true scale of Chewie. I never know how big the dang apple is in the picture and it really doesn't mean much to me in terms of scale. Showing these with other PFs many of us have in hand really brings it home for me.

I conveniently have a nice 9 box corner display that is just itching to be re-arranged with the key ANH characters: Luke, Han, Leia, Vader, Ben, Droids, Chewie, Stormie, Tarkin. I guess the Tusken Raider will have to go the prequel side of the room

I saw that. Looked at it in the zoom section. WOW! They look great. I still like a dirty R2 better but 3PO looks amazing. R2 looks great also but he is to much of an action star to look so clean
