It was still a limited edition and no ES does not mean unlimited supply. It has been available to order for well over a year so if you didn't get one you have no one to blame but yourself for procrastinating. If it was really that important to you, you should have pulled the trigger sooner.

Oh shut up with your high horse BS. No ES with SSC typically means in stock for years... like the Stormtrooper and many other items. I made the decision to tackle the things I wanted with finite ES' first.

IF I have to I will find one on the secondary market but no one wanted your condescending opinion.

Maybe Sideshow is thinking that their recent move to products without an ES is motivating buyers not to place orders for in-stock product. Perhaps they figured the Droids are a good piece to do this with if they have significant QC issues? It's all just speculation at this point. I hope that everyone that wants one can get one. Who knows, maybe they'll just load up the wait list and then do mass conversions when they come back in stock. I've seen them do that before too.

There isn't even a waitlist up which tells me it is likely on hold... which we've seen before.

Hit a nerve? Who the hell talks to people in such an unecessary condescending manner? I wasn't whining or crying on this thread. I made a judgment call to focus on collectibles with an ES. A position that is generally the smarter route. Those "low quantity" announcements can be BS too as we have seen in the past with other collectibles.

I also don't collect only Star Wars but Marvel, DC, LOTR, swords, 1/4 figures etc...
