This is the only thing stopping me. I look at these guys then I look at my sauron pf and I struggle to see my monies worth. Been trying to make a decision on these for weeks and still can't decide lol.

Well; the only 1/4th set I have seen around. So it's either take it or leave it. It really makes no difference once they are set up. Could they have been a bit cheaper? Yes. But I love these two so much that it was not even a question of money. I would have saved all my pennies for these two. It really depends on your connection and whether you can live with plastic R2. The fact that it's plastic is a non issue once displayed. They look amazing. Good luck.

I love mine. They are so iconic, and they will forever be. I bet they will be in all of the new Star Wars (main storyline) movies that we will see.

The shared, sandy base of the Regulars is fantastic, and the dirtied up look, equally. Where I have recently parted with my Anakin, Dooku and Maul PFs, I will probably not part with the droids for many years to come.

Their weight and materials are incredibly irrelevant ones they are on the shelf. The paint apps of both of them is done so well that you completely forget everything about that.

You got rid of Anakin and Maul, I thought they were amongst your favs? I'm surprised, in my mind they still hold up as 2 of sideshows finest.

Exactly. I have fallen for the DC Comics pieces. At least the more iconic of them. I will always love SW as my main "thing", but I need more colors in my collection. :)

I sense the Justice League disturbing the force.
Gotta admit they are coming out rather nicely.

Not enough midichlorians in the DC Universe for me to be interested, but I do agree with everyone stating R2 and 3PO are iconic to the SW franchise.

They're not leaving my shelves either. :rock

They indeed are! Very iconic pieces, which is luring me in. I mean, these characters have decades upon decades behind them. That speaks to me somehow.

Good to hear. :) I will always be a SW collector in my heart. It's in my nick as well, so no escaping that... ;)

While those DC pieces are looking very nice - not one of them would ever replace the droid duo.

Same here. ;)
