i think i'll rent this today from BB....I meant to change my Gamefly rental to this from Fallout 3 so Fallout 3 is coming next week. can't wait to play that one but I was going to wait until i had my fill of GOW2 and Dead Space so i could devote the necessary time to FO3. Oh well, it's great to have so many great games out right now.

I beat the game today, great game! But I am very disappointed in the length of the game. I did not rush and I played on Normal; I beat it in about 4-5 hours. Very lame....I do plan to go back and beat it on veteran though.

4-5 hours?!? wtf, that is ridiculous. oh well, should be able to rent it and finish it today then.

4-5 hours is short for you guys? I guess I can't sit there and play for extended periods of time like some of you. to me, 5 hours is just about right. I get tired of a game if it's too drawn out and takes forever to finish.

Well most FPS games today are at least 8 hours. So I was surprised that this game was 5 hours, it ended as quickly as it started. It was too short.

Before the game came out I heard reports that it was a short campaign, and at the time there was not enough evidence to back it up. So I ignored it, but after beating it myself I can say those reports are true. I remember COD4 being longer, prob around 8 hours at least.

give me 10-15 hours if it's a series i'm into because i know it will be a year or more before i get to play the next installment. :monkey2

20+ is too long for me unless it's a SW game like KOTOR. although i don't remember how long that one was.

although if it has a good online game to it that makes up for a shorter campaign.

I played Oblivion for like 300 hours before I actually finished the game. I played that game constantly for at least a year.

I don't mind the shorter FPS game. I liked the length on this one. I'm sure at a harder level it takes a bit longer. And with doing all the Co-op stuff, like the death cards and the challenges, this game has good replay value!!

Yeah, once I go through on Veteran...I am sure that will take me a lot longer.

And your right about the co-op stuff, it will definately add replay value as well as the outstanding multiplayer. Even the achievements will keep me playing to get some more. Either way the early possibility of a short campaign was not the deciding factor is me buying this game. I knew this game would kick ass and be fun to play for a long time.

yeah the next to hardest diff. does lenghten it. bad part is when you are trying to move and cover there's a grenade on top of you when you are behind cover so you have to run out into the open to avoid it, if it isn't close enough to throw back but that's only frustrating on a few parts.

a good edition to the COD franchise and Nazi Zombies is great.
