Well I have seen enough. I am forced to go out at lunch and purchase this game. Hopefully I can find some trades to be able to get AC.

never understood the whine-fest about 'campers'. that is why you have a killcam in non-hardcore modes. If they are camping one would think that you use your smarts to get that person back since you know exactly where they are camping at. easy kills if you ask me.

Now if you are running like a chicken without a head and not checking your corners before you go blazing past and get killed by someone just crouched behind the wall, that is your own fault.

Wait thats the only way people play this game. I have found that the way to best in this game is to either run and gun or camp. Trying to be tactical only gets you killed.

Maybe for a few matches after I beat the story. Doubtful though with AC coming out. I just haven't had the desire to play really anything online for quite some time.

I prefer to run & gun...although thats not always the best idea.
Have no patience to camp though.

That way when me and my friends play we don't have to listen to all the slurs, internet tough guys, etc.

Just one more comment, if you like to add strategy to your game, come play hardcore! It may not be perfect but that's what we play and I feel I have the most fun there.

Trying to man, I need to level up. Hardcore will determine if it has it's hooks in me. Also does anyone else noticed that the guns are quiet? I'll turn down the volume on the voices. Also with everyone muted it's a lot quieter...almost too quiet.

I've never done online multiplayer. I have a PS3 (though I don't think its connected to the internet), and I'm considering giving it a try with Black Ops.

How does it work? Do you have to pay to play? Just connect through a regular broadband connection, join a game, and start shooting?

Pretty much. Although I would recommend finding cool people to play with first. Listening to foul mouthed little brats gets old the second you hear it.

Can I add Camp fest to MW2 as well.

I really don't get why so many people love that game, for me it was a Major disapointment after waiting for two years after the excellent COD 4.

Was that too. It's a mode of play but just not mine.

People who barricade themselves up in a room with claymores and stay there for multiple kills are campers. If you want to play that way, fine, but it confounds me why people think this is a sucessful strategy. Like Nash said, with Killcams, you will be trageted after your first kill.

I'm all for setting up ambushes, but get out there and fight, too.

Yeah, I don't get it either. I pretty much stay moving in and out of buildings. Now, I do use the find a room clear it out and use it for a bit then get on the move again. Just setting up shop the entire time the match goes on isn't my thing. Would be boring for me.

I resent that comment. In most cases it is not the developers who make those decisions. Trust me, the developers want to fix everything they can.

Yeah, most of the time being tactical just gets ya whacked.

One thing I was hoping for in this game was a really great Sniping mission in the campaign. Modern Warfare 1's was the best, but the one in World at War was really good too.

Looks like I got a bad copy of the game. I tried to continue my saved game and it starts the video to get to the next level and kicks me out saying cant read media.

Can't see anything wrong with the disk. I deleted my save and starting over just to make sure it's not my save file. I don't want to drive back to Toys R Us since it's not that close.
