I finished the single player Saturday night, pretty cool if not a tad over explanatory towards the end. Sam Worthington kept slipping in and out of accents which was kind of annoying but he I can tell he was trying very hard to emote. Ice Cube, the guy who played Woods, and Ed Harris were great and I dug all of the variety the game had to offer. One of the best single player campaigns to date. MP is fun, but Domination is where it's at! You can get so much XP per game, I ranked up from 12-19 in two hours! Still not a fan of spawning and it seems people are getting the drop on my team every time. A nice installment in the COD series but I can't help but feel this is becoming a little repetitive. They need to shake it up a bit, word on the street is the Dead Space guys are working on next year's COD...hopefully they will bring it into space or the not too distant future. Good job Treyarch...good job.

Wouldn't be a bad thing. They seem to have the MP down from what I've read about the Dead Space 2 online.

One thing that kind of annoyed me about the campaign is that they killed off just about everyone. Weaver and Mason are the only two that survived right? Didn't seem necessary to kill Woods off IMO, even though it was a good scene.

Sorry Keith there are some ways of killing folks that are cheap. That to me is more a fact than your well you just didn't like it. I don't like getting killed at all but I don't think their all cheap.

For me as I said staying on the move is what's funnest for me. I can't just sit laying prone or hiding in a corner. I'd get really bored in a hurry doing that.

I disagree. Unless they are cheating how can it be cheap? :dunno

Anyways it doesn't suit my play style to sit in a spot and wait. But if someone wants to do that more power to them. I can remember you camping in COD WOW and your response was something like "come and get me". So I guess your style of play has changed since then. :rotfl

One thing I didn't notice until the other day when rizzo and I played was some hidden lag. Watch a kill cam next time you get killed and you think it's odd. I've done that and noticed that I was wrong he started shooting a lot sooner than he did on my screen.

They are using Cliffy B style servers. :rotfl

You're right Keith. What was I thinking? :lol

As far that was one night. Screwing around in private matches. My style has always been the same. Stay on the move.

Yeah, it seems the CoD games mask the lag. That's why, unless the latency is terrible, you don't notice any choppiness. However, if you meet an opponent around a corner, pump a clip-full of bullets into them and you die, watch the killcam. It may look like you weren't shooting at all. In these cases, lag basically predetermined who would win the duel as what you see on your screen may be time-delayed.

Just my theory.

I think you're right. I've noticed after we talk and honestly it's made it easier to just realize that sometimes it's not gonna matter. :lol

Yeah I've seen this a lot too. I get killed after shooting someone a couple times, and I'm thinking "Was I shooting blanks??" After watching the killcam I see that he got me first despite that's not what I saw when it actually happened.

Yeah, they should have kept Woods and Bowman around but I guess they were killed for emotional impact. Still liked Soap & co. more but these guys were all right. Woods was my favorite character, Mason seemed a little...flat. Nothing beats Noble team IMO characterwise.

Lol...the amount of _____ that I see in people's emblems surprises me that there isn't a filter yet.

Yeah I saw Nazi crap (surprise) and I think tits. Anyone play HC? It's pretty awesome so far. I wish they kept the S&D Ricochet game type. Nothing worse when a guy team kills you as you plant the bomb.

Yeah some of them are a little much. :lol saw one last night of a buck humping a horse. Of course it was coming from some dumb college kids so that explained a lot.

I think they should make the spawn system like BFBC2...you get to choose to spawn on your teammates or the spawn point picked by the system. I think it would make the game much more strategic and far less random.

The problem is that the maps are much, much smaller in BO. In general, it does respawn you next to teammates. However, maps like Nuke Town are so small, there is hardly anywhere to respawn someone without being "right in front of or behind someone"
