if you plan on buying all DLC then elite membership is a no brainer ($50 gets ya $60 of DLC content)

I don't buy map packs though. Sure it can get boring playing on the same maps over and over but $15 for 4 or 5 new maps isn't worth it to me.

That's assuming the MW series releases more than one map pack. If my memory serves me right, IW has only released one map pack per game.:dunno

Abysmal compared to Treyarch.

I'm a cod fan and I'll buy this of course. I am a bit disappointed that it looks identical to MW2. I'm sure it'll be fun and ridiculous and infuriating and addictive like a COD game always is, but for whatever reason, thought they might at least attempt to bring something new to the presentation. The new footage could easily pass as MW2 DLC footage. There's new stuff, but still in the same game.

yeah it looks cool, but its definetly the same shat. Nothing to different, I mean by this point the COD games are all the same to me. I still like them, but they really need to do something different.

Yeah, but I don't blame the developers at all. It's Activisions greed. If they'd give the developers time, they could make real improvements to this series like making a much needed new graphics engine. IW made a great engine that has lasted a long time, but it's showing it's age a bit now. With Activision being greedy, CoD is like the new Madden. Pump out a new release ever year with a few upgrades and features and slap a $60 price tag on it. The annoying part is that it'll work just as well as it always has for Madden.

Why change anything when the sheep will line up at midnight to but it anyway? If you were a dev and knew that kids would buy the game no matter what, just cause it's MW, why spend money on improvements? Just keep milking that cow...

The difference between this: (PS3 gameplay)

i think most gamers with be buying both, I'm buying MW3 for campaign and spec-ops alone cause as dodgy as MP can be the campaign is always awesome

Agreed karma. Any word on soap and price being in this one yet? I love their story, it'd be great to see it carried on / finished.

That battlefield video is on PC man. It's only 24 player online on PS3, still more excited about BF then COD though. They need to do something different!

The dev stated that some of those clips in the vid were from a PS3 version. It was a blend of XBOX, PC and PS3.

I just saw this earlier. Amazing film. They actually worked in part with Activision on it. It's a fan film, but made by real pros.
