Yeah see I dont care all that much about graphics, im about game play and the COD games are always what Ive played, but looking to switch it up. Regardless I know myself and I have a feeling i'll still end up on MW3

Agree man, my only complaint is that it looks like part 2 and I dont mean graphically I just mean it looks like the same game, but your right thats not going to stop me from playing it.

Yep, I love the idea of vehicles, but your right...that could be good or bad.

Sure, but if the had a new engine that was looking sweet you wouldn't have a problem with that. I mean...I don't know about you, but i like better graphics. Necessary? No, but nice to have? You bet. I don't think the controls need to change at all on COD. That's always been what we all love about the series. The engine is pretty old though.

People keep saying they want something different, but really how would they change this other than guns, killstreaks, other weapons, maps, physics etc.

After all, bf3 looks just like a not-horrible bc2 with the same slow and tactical gameplay the series is known for. But hey, better lighting effecs right?

I love Call of Duty, But I praise BF. COD just needs to improve, step their game up a bit. It's almost becoming madden. The best COD is COD 4, which created the COD we all know today and the biggest change to the series is Zombies. MW2 tried to imitate that with spec ops (which is fun) but not as addicting as Zombies. MW3 has survival, but its only 2 player co-op.

Battlefield however, seems like they are always stepping their game up. In BF, when you play as a sniper, you have to act like a real sniper compared to COD's run and gun 360 no scope BS. As with all of other classes in BF, when you play as them, you actually feel like a specialist in that class. BC2's online was more addictive then ever with destructible buildings, parachutes, different unlocks and weapons. Now in BF3 you can do all that plus fly jets, customize certain traits and looks of your character and the new destruction 2.0, which is you can destroy virtually anything. Plus, a whole separate co-op campaign. BF is a more realistic experience then COD. Plus, there is no denying it, BF3 looks a lot better then MW3 on PC or console.

At least they are both better then Halo. :lol

Hopefully for modern warfare 4 we get a new game engine that adds destructible inviroments. I think modern warfare 3 looks way better than black ops.

:exactly::goodpost:

Blops had a lot going for it, and the wager matches were cool, but didn't last too long. MW's are always better then treyarch's games.

Sounds like a typical case of "don't hate the game, hate the player..." going on here regarding quickscoping... ;) All the stupid really unrealistic things in cod are the people who play the game's fault, besides obvious things like heartbeat sensors and whatnot.

So pretty much, they are taking battlefield and adding all of the things that are great in call of duty :rotfl I'll still get the game because I've never regretted getting a FPS, but I still think I won't like the slow-paced feel. That combined with the fact that they're taking out a lot of bad things (commando, second chance etc.) make me think that MW3 will really be a good game, but too many people are already on the BF3 bandwagon already.

Just might be. I understand if your into more fast paced games. Like I said, I love COD and am pumped for MW3 but BF for me is the game I have been waiting for.

I guess you can think of it this way. In COD you call in airstrikes in BF you can be the airstrike.

Yeah, the WaW campaign was pretty bada$$. By far, my favorite Treyarch campaign. Blops campaign was a mess. Not very fun and didn't understand what the hell was going on.

Totally agree, I mean im not a stickler for graphics, but if they can present great graphics without affecting the framerate or actual game play then Im all for it.

Blops campaign was the only good part about that game, they actually did it very well.

SO is anybody getting the call of duty 3 limited edition 360 I myself am getting the gears of war xbox but wonder why infinity ward did not put more thought in the modern warfare 3 xbox they at least could have put a camo paint job on it or something it dosent look terible but they could have did something better with it I think.

You should really try World at War. The campaign is wonderful.

For some reason when I first started playing WaW I didn't like the campaign much at all, the whole thing just felt a bit 'off' and underwhelming to me, compared to other CoD's. Yet in persevering a bit more I found that by about the third mission in I was really enjoying it all of a sudden, and I very much enjoyed the campaign all the way to the end. It was just one of those 'slow burn' games for me, that grew on me more and more as I played it.

Some games are just like that.
