I'm sure we will get a SS Vader this year, but for those that don't want to wait it out the ROTJ Medicom Vader is one sweet figure. I just got mine and it ROCKS, it is a very impressive stand alone figure and it helps take the edge off of not having a SS Vader yet

I LOVE my Medi-Vader. Especially now that I've put magnets in his helmet so the dome doesn't fall off anymore.

It is truly wonderful. But, like you said, he's a stand alone, as he looks pretty pathetically small next to the Sideshow figures.

I wonder which version it'll be first? Maybe ROTJ, but it probably depends on what we see between now and then.

I 100% agree with that. sideshow can't make star wars figures and say Charactors like Chewbacca and Vader are too hard to make so here is Plo Koon, come on now!

We'll see a Darth Vader announced next year in celebration of the 30th anniversary of ANH. Let's hope Sideshow has done its homework and their Vader surpasses competitors'.
