Can we expect another 1/6 vader anytime soon?

I'm really hoping we get a ESB Vader from Sideshow soon, i need a SS Vader figure.

Why would they want to combine Vaders? I mean, thats a character you can legitimately milk for all its worth?

A reason to explain the short dome that'll come with the figure. Being an amalgam of ESB and ROTJ gives them an out.

Figure $200 is probably close if its a deluxe version. I'm sure this Vader will look as damn cool on the shelf as the current one I have.

Yeah I want a vader so bad but I can't see myself putting out 250+ for a non exusive which is what they're fetching right now on eBay. If they made 4000 of them I wouldn't care as long as I got one. Besides it's vader... You know it'll hold up it's value!

I think a DX version is a mistake. Too many people will want separate display options for Vader w Bespin Luke, and Vader w ROTJ Luke and the Emperor.

Not if they get you to buy two of the same release: Two deluxe figures at $200 is better for Sideshow than a ROTJ and ESB at $150. And they can reduce the complaints about releasing the same figure over and over.

I do hope they go ahead and shorten the Vader Armor body, proportions overall are pretty nice with the costume when you knock about a 1/2 inch off of him. If the shorten him and alter the dome and make the appropriate ROTJ/ESB variations I think they'd have a real winner on their hands and I'd be in for another Vader.

I didn't have a problem with the height either, better on the tall side than shorter anyway. I mean this is Vader we're talking about. I realize there were a few small imperfections, but I've loved mine since the day I got it. Just a great figure all around so the Deluxe offering should be that much better.

I agree. I still love the first Vader. He is an incredibly impressive figure and looks spectacular amongst my collection. I have him at the top of my shelving unit that contains all my other figures, and he is truly the crown jewel.

That may be the case, but he is still too tall for accuracies purpose. So just to be clear you would rather have figure that is about a head taller than he should be?

Again, I agree that taller is better than shorter. But if I can get an accurate height that is preferable

The slight tallness doesn't bother me. It makes Vader even more emposing. Hope the next Vader the doesn't have that silly gunmetal and black scheme on the mask.

He doesn't look inaccurate to me on my shelf. I seriously could not tell you if his height was really accurate or not. It looks right to me on my shelf. So if they made this Vader that height it wouldn't bother me at all because it looks right to me.

As GB said, how is it a mistake if it forces people to buy more than one?

Being one of the loyal fans who wasn't able to nab one the first time around I really hope they make another. I mean...the have multiple statues for Leia and Luke!!! There's also a second Maul coming out. Give us another Vader!!!!
