After thinking it over, I've got a feeling that it may indeed be quite busy with pre-orders. We'll get the LOTR crowd ordering as well as those people planning on making their own custom "Johnny Carson" figures...

But seriously, I'm really looking forward to this one and the line in general. Probably more so than the Star Wars line.

How do you have the pre-order screen up and waiting when it shouldn't show up until the pre-order opens?

No, the login screen is up there -- it's just when you log into it, it tells you "This item has not yet become available for STREAMLINE PRE-ORDERING. It will be available for pre-order shortly." So you go back to the login screen and wait patiently.

Just one more hour to go, anyway.

How come you can get to the login page, when all I get from the banner link is the preview?

Interesting! Your link to the login screen just goes to the home page (which is where the login screen should be in 45 minutes!). Weird!

I think people had this same problem with banners before.

If the system recognises you, you get to the preorder page. If not, you are redirected straight to the main page.

I hope Chris can shed a bit more light on this eventually. (Maybe in a new podcast interview! We love hearing from you, Chris!) In any case, here's to the preorder running smoothly for everyone.

If you start too early it will take forever to load and you'll just get the "this item is not available yet" screen like we all did for Obi-wan. So don't go there until after 10.
