The nice thing about Cap is that the only one I'd ever want is him in his traditional uniform. So if they do a crazy low ES with some alternate costume I won't need to stress at all.

After Dave's comment, I think it will be either the WWII version or the Ultimate Version.............but am leaning more towards it being the WWII version........
The exclusive is in fact the highly reguarded and much sought after Reb Brown tv version of Captain America.

I've been a Cap fan since forever and I am just too thrilled to see this preview. I admit, I had some reservations about how a Cap PF would turn out because the Marvel PF line has not been terribly consistent (for me at least). But this looks like they nailed him and this could vey well dethrone my beloved Bowen as the definitive Cap.
Question for the board!
Maybe I missed it but does anybody know how the material list would look for the different areas of the body? Meaning:
1) Head/Cowl = leather over polystone head (please!)...but most likely it's one piece of poly
2) Chest, arms, boots = polystone...pretty obvious
3) Shield = metal (please!!!) but, again, likely polystone
4) Midsection, pants = cloth with metal belt buckle (maybe leather belt)
Anybody have thoughts on how close I am on this?

Oh yeah!
Forgot to say that, in order, the top 3 BEST Cap uniforms (IMHO) are:
1) the Classic Uniform we are getting in PF (Huzzah!)
2) Ultimate Cap (modern) once he got redesigned (Ultimates 2) to have the cool helmet and collar (though I admit, the stars on his shoulders are still weak)..please please please be the Exclusive
3) Ultimate Cap (WWII), also designed by Bryan Hitch (like #2) and just totally kicks...would probably be the most intersting subject of them all for a mixed media statue
If SS decided to just go ahead and give us PFs of all 3, you know, I'd buy'em. Dead serious...I'm in on each and every one....

PS - I know SS tends to focus on modern versions of the Marvel heroes but do they have the license/rights/whatever to do Ultimate Marvel versions? Just curious. To be frank, the only Ultimate version of a Marvel character that really stands out as good PF fodder is Cap (maybe Thor). They really went with the black leather/function over style scheme for that universe.

Color me unimpressed if the Exclusive is a big flag. That's uninspired.
Color me pleased to see a Bucky statue to go along with Cap but that would be mildly anachronistic (for this costume, at least). Not deal breaker by any means...good...just not great.
