Yeah this is the million dollar question. I think it works great for the eyes but yeah the concern stands about longevity for sure. As far as using stickers for anything other than the eyes I'm totally against it.

These are way too $$$$ to go the route of using stickers............okay okay I'm not saying anymore

Are decal eyes on premium format figures common? That sounds....bleh.

I'm new to this. Mostly collect Hot Toys figures. All this talk of decals has me feeling rather lukewarm on these products.

Eye decals are a good thing especially when you look back at some of the painted attempts.
They can add a layer of lacquer which will make it last and give it a wet look.

Well, I hope at least one shield is painted. Not sure if a shield decal will be a deal breaker for me, but it is a little bit of a bummer.

But every product seems to have at least one flaw/drawback, so...

I just saw the video for the first time i believe the shield is looking bad sticker or not the if the gray border is supposed to be weathering on the shield is too uniform also if you look at the top of his suit the scales look to glossy to me and the belt looks very new it does bot fit with the piece its supposed to be weathered man this is a huge let down im with you snoopy i really hope the one in the video is not the way the final piece looks the one at sdcc looked amazing its a shame i have passed on several pieces to get this one and if the in hand pictures are the same i might have to cancel

It looks like poor quality control and cheaper production is the name of the game it has started to become a bigger issue with sideshow but prices do seem to keep going up waiting a whole year for a statue and they are not delivering is very sad and all they do is cancel if you would like we will keep your deposit and then place it on sale for shocktober if it doesnt sale come on sideshow!! You are really starting to loose both a customer and a fan here!!

Yes, I don't care if I have to wait an extra six months if Sideshow can produce the quality products that they use to.

Not to mention the interest alone sideshow is making from just having our money in their bank and they keep "delaying" the statue to their convenience and no reason is given i know we as collectors would not mind delays if we got s quality product at the end looks like i might have to be sending all my money over to jerry at pop culture shock his prices are very resonable and the pieces are as promised if not he will rectify the problem for example on the eyes of the chun li statue. Maybe im just a little frustrated but i passed on several other collectibles and statues for this!

See this is my point do we as collectors really have to pay over 300 and get a product with problems as this and then have to pay more to have it fixed and get a product we are happy with! I am glad that more companies are starting to sell statues like popcultureshock prime 1 xm kotobukiya sideshow has been takijf advantage of the market share they have to keep pushing out inferior product and keep raking in the profits
