I really apologized for the waiting guys, but due to some unfortunate events the custom head is not completely done. The painted helmet was not in the original shipping box. However I don't want you guys to wait more. So I took a pic without the helmet for the meantime and again thank you for being so patient with me.

So here is my finished custom heater shield. I've never worked with clay and learned a lot doing this. Is it perfect? Not even close, but I am pretty happy with it and don't see how I could have made it much better with my amateurish skills. Also my opinion of the original one from SS couldn't be lower, so I think anything is an improvement.
