Excellent pics. The statue itself looks superb, and I can't wait to pre-order this along with the new Red Skull PF.

I always thought once Sideshow announced a new Cap PF I'd give up on wanting the original, however, as good as this new PF is, I still want the old PF. Nevertheless, well done Sideshow.

Ha yeah, you get all excited seeing the pictures but you forget about that side of things. I remember getting excited about the Superman & Batman PF's but still the wait goes on

Most likely classic head for Red Skull. Unless it was scrapped just like the Punisher BD head. No idea for Cap.

Impressive statue but not sure I want to purchase an Allied Cap, much less a Sideshow version of an Allied Cap. Looks like the inspiration is from the Captain America Reborn arc, when he was trapped in time, but it's still not completely accurate (pants and boots). Still trying to figure out what this is based on.

That said, it's really well done. The shield looks strangely small for him, but that's about the only criticism I could make.

I don't see this replacing the modern comic-book based Cap PF, and I think it would look strange in a lineup with modern day Avengers. But it's nice.

I still prefer the original CA that's flawless in my eyes but this is still an amazing piece though no doubt about it.

When I see this I think it looks more of a movie version than a comic version for some reason
