Riddick is obviously a super fan of the Pitch Black and Mortal Kombat series'. Frankly, it's a bit unreasonable to expect that other films will reach the lofty standards that those modern day masterpieces have set.

There is no "hooking up" of any sort in this movie. Cap and Widow spend a lot of time together, but as you see in the trailer, Widow is trying to set him up with other girls. Cap and 13 do flirt, but they spend very little time together in the movie.

I think I just wanted to know that Cap was a one woman man... I've always been a fan of Sharon Carter with Cap so I hope they make them a couple in future movies and she plays a bigger role

Agent Carter is in this movie. I'll leave it at that.

Personally, it will be hard to ever top The Avengers. I've never been that hyped for a movie, only to have it exceed my expectations. I go to the movies to be entertained, I don't sit there and nitpick every little detail. Avengers entertained me more than any movie ever has. It's so hard for a movie to live up to a lot of hype. I expected Cap2 to be really good, and it was. It probably exceeded expectations, there is a LOT going on in this movie. But for me, it's not Avengers.

But I'm weird....I enjoy every super hero movie, just some more than others. I actually really enjoyed both Hulk movies and love Wolverine Origins. But then again, I'm not a big comic book reader so I don't pick them all apart. That's just me.

LOL well I enjoyed the Avengers more. Not by a lot but I did. We all have our favorites, dude. Geez.

It's nearly impossible to top the Hulk scenes for me.

Still, if it can stand up next to the first Iron Man in overall quality I'll be really happy.

It was a good review but he had a spoiler about a cameo and glossed over IM3 when talking about missteps from Marvel.
But he's a reviewer for a financial mag/site and financially IM3 probably can't be categorized as a "misstep".
Though I'm sure most fans would argue differently.

There is a scene where Csp sneaks up behind a guy, wraps his arms around the guys head and quietly takes him to the ground.

My 7 year old leaned over and whispered "sssilent takedown" (from the Arkham games)

It's a museum replica, much less functional and stylized to look closer to the classic comic version (hence "Golden Age").
Don't forget that in this universe comic books about Cap existed and he was a pop star before entering the war.
