Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

I must say, though, not that she isn't always, but I found ScarJo to be ridiculously appealing in this movie. In part because of the way she looked, but damn, even her attitude was sexy as hell.

Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

As far as the other lady in Cap's life goes, I feel the need to say "Benjamin Button, who?" The aging effects done on Hayley Atwell were ridiculously good, to the point where my mind was questioning whether they'd recast the role during production, in favor of having her play her future (present) self. I think we're past that "uncanny valley" point in a lot of ways. It just blew my mind to see how well done that was.

Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

Went and saw the double feature last night. What a great time. TWS was amazing! Alot of amazing action, ScarJo was sexy as hell in this, and I cannot wait to see how this affects Agents of Shield and every other movie coming out now.

I will be seeing this again this weekend.

Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

Now that the Widow's cover is blown there will be bad guys coming for her. Sets up a solo movie and if she plays it like she did in this it will definitely be a win.

Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

The old age makeup is probably the only thing I didn't like about this, pretty funny.

Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

Awesome movie.
Loved Batroc and how they introduced Modok. Still disappointed Red Skull hasn't appeared again. Also, I keep reading about a Pulp Fiction reference. Don't recall that. Dammit that means i'll have to watch it again.

Wasn't Modok, that was Arnim Zola in his computer body

Unless I missed something. :lol

Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

Regarding...
SHIELD, maybe it's just me, but does anyone else think that Fury might try to rebuild the organization from the ground up? Or, perhaps, a different organization? Cap said that SHIELD was too corrupt, and that it had to go, but I think back to what Pierce said about "sometimes building a better world means having to tear down the old one," and I think about how Fury reacted when Cap said it had to go (like it was his baby).

Re: Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier

I also like the idea of...
Zola becoming his comic book counterpart. He knw the missile strike was coming, so, I wouldn't be surprised if he backed himself up and proceeded to build his robotic form.
